Took out the 1.4 TFSI black edition. Engine is sweet as a nut. Coming from a 190 BHP Diesel i was worried about its pulling power but it was lovely.
Build quality also good but apart from the Sat Nav and bluetooth doesn't come with much else.
Alteca we took out the 1.6( I didn't want too) diesel SE tech. Engine was pants as i thought but sales man wanted me to try it. The interior was also drab and looked cheap.
Then took out the 2.0 D Xcellence and the interior and drive was much better. Just want a 1.4 DSG deal to come out and ill take it.
My local VW garage had not one Tiguan to test drive and Seat didn't have the 1.4 either.
For the money the Seat is a great deal as you get everything. Just me being a badge snob has me doubting it.
You can get the 1.4 manual Xcellence for 250 with 3 months down.
What else were you wanting that the Audi didn't have? (Except parking sensors you mention). What's the best deal you have seen on those?Build quality also good but apart from the Sat Nav and bluetooth doesn't come with much else.

And where have you seen the Ateca deal for £250 for the Xcellence with 3 months deposit?

Has anyone ever extended a 2-year lease to a third year with VWFS ?
Our Tiguan 24 month deal will be over this year and considering keeping it for a third year depending on price of course.
I guess the depreciation curve will start flattening out so if they were going to carry on charging the same monthly for 12 months without additional deposit, it'd represent good value for us at £7,500 total over 3 years.
Yes, just did this. Got my Tigaun for another 12 months from March for an additional £17 per month including 20,000 miles total for 3 years. Admin charge of £60. Happy days! Our Tiguan 24 month deal will be over this year and considering keeping it for a third year depending on price of course.

I'm still hunting own Tiguan deals. I need a personal lease for a minimum of 12k miles pa, ideally some headroom above that. I'm find it difficult to get quotes for a Tiguan 2.0TDI SE NAV 2WD on a 3 + 23 with 12-15k miles. Everything seems to be 5-10k. Anyone know where can look?
With VWFS it's often cheaper to lease at 5k/yr and simply pay the excess at the end.All brokers and main dealers will quote for 15k/yr if that's what you're after.
I lease through http://www.uchoosecontracts.co.uk/ who are the lease arm to VW Crewe.

Well I currently have heated seats, full leather and front and back sensors so the Audi seems a bit backwards.
Best I see was 240 for a manual over the weekend. Add the sensors and its 250 a month which isnt to bad I guess.

Was it not possible to begin another 2 year deal for same the price you were paying?
Re the vwfs question: FWIW, I've got a Golf R up for renewal in march. Nothing out there really floats by boat so I got a quote to extend. The amortised cost for the original deal was about £309pm. The quote to extend for a year is £258pm. The original deal was for 20k miles but as I've only done 10k after 21 months I've kept the total miles to 20k.
I've not decided if I'll go ahead with it yet. If a skoda superb sport line 280 or a Golf R estate comes up on a deal soon I'll take that instead.

I can only find an R Estate for 391pm amortised at the moment, so your renewal seems good to me. I'm not sure how long we've got to wait until the new shape Golf is available so it's not as though you're missing anything.I've not decided if I'll go ahead with it yet. If correct/genuine that looks great value, I would expect the standard £2400 deposit at £132 per month but on a 9+23 that is a good'un!https://www.gateway2lease.com/cars/seat/ateca-suv/...

Ah yes, he whatcar deals are 36 months. Was looking for 24. Well I currently have heated seats, full leather and front and back sensors so the Audi seems a bit backwards.

I know what you mean about the backwards step. We have a Yeti L&K which is really well specced and we will no doubt lose some stuff. Thats why we are looking at the better models for the new car.
Keep us informed about what you find.

Shame the better spec isn't in line with this pricing!https://www.gateway2lease.com/cars/seat/ateca-suv/...
Thats a good price to extend your lease.
I enquired last month to extend my E250 coupe another 12 months and was told it would be approx £150 a month extra, insane!
Now I am rushing around trying to get something sorted out as it goes back in 8 weeks. Basically at S5 money if I decided to keep it.
Best S5 deal I have been offered is £444 a month with VAT, 3 + 23 & 10k per annum. Any one seen better?

Has anyone came across any half decent focus RS deals?
I can't imagine there will be bargain deals but I'd love one to replace my ST.
There was one a few weeks ago that was approx £430 pm on 3+23 10k. Not a very good deal IMO given the RRP and the probable lack of depreciation it will suffer.I can't imagine there will be bargain deals but I'd love one to replace my ST.

Last car lost about 9k max in 7 years I think I had worked out. Lease would be minimum of £10k would advise getting a loan as after two wars it would lose no more than 5 I would guess.I can't imagine there will be bargain deals but I'd love one to replace my ST.

And he's also extending the previous model Tiguan when he could get the new one?!Over 24 months we will have payed £220/month amortised (therefore including initial payment).
If they let us extend by 12 months by only increasing by £17/month, that will be £200/month when including the £60 admin fee.
Which will yield a new amortised monthly of £213 over the 36 months.
It would cost us £287/month amortised to get the new shape Tiguan now, ie 35% more, for a slightly lower spec SE Nav new shape compared to our Match Ed. For us, it's not worth it.
Plus we have already bought the first service at £160 which will see us through the end of the 3rd year. I expect the original consumables to see us through that too. We might be liable for the 1st MOT (£30) though.
Waiting for another year might allow lower prices on the then not that new shape Tiguan, if not we'll probably get something closer to the £200 mark amortised again ; for us those cars are just commodities, Tiguan old shape, Tiguan new shape, Sportage, Kadjar, Qashqai, Tucson etc... Much of a muchness.
