Jumped on the Volvo XC60 T5 SE Nav auto deal (incl metallic) via Ray Chapman Volvo
Went for 9000 miles p.a. with winter pack added which worked out at £245 per month on 6+23 (c.£7100 over term)
Excess mileage 18ppm but hoping not to go over
Seems kike a great deal. Have you driven one? I want to do so before ordering but the earliest I can get into our local volvo dealer is Thursday. Still, might be snowing by then which would be entertaining!Went for 9000 miles p.a. with winter pack added which worked out at £245 per month on 6+23 (c.£7100 over term)

Just signed up for an XC60 SE NAV T5 at £230 on a 3+23 (7k).
bargain at 17% of list.
Would have liked a few of the options over SE NAV, but the monthlies jump drastically and it's a well specced car in standard trim really.
Direct through local dealer.
I (will soon) drive a volvo... a beige one
Coming from a Golf R it'll be a bit of a change, but our girls are growing up and wife thought a dog was needed to complete our family, so it fits the bill pretty well really...

One would expect the OTR price of the car to already reflect the changes in first year registration, since they are only making about 2 months of cars before the change it would make sense to just make more money on the two months worth of cars than have a price hike so soon? And so the second year is all that there would be to talk about.
I know my car if it arrives in April will not go up in price, but it seems ridiculous to me they are quoting prices then saying it won't actually be that price. Nobody who orders one now will get one in March unless it's a cancelled order so what's the point in a pre April price?
Yes I completely agree, but after talking to several of the brokers this seems to be the case, they can't guarantee the price wont go up due to the VED changes. I guess your car was originally scheduled for pre April delivery and was pushed back? I make VED change on an S5 +£510 first year then +£240 for second year, since it's over £40k rrp.

Good news. Although I did mean in the Ateca specifically, as I thought i'd read something on a forum somewhere about the car blocking it to push people into buying the Tech pack/Nav pack.
I can't find the reference now, but i'm sure someone with the same system in a Leon would be able to confirm one way or the other.
Ah sorry right. That would be pretty shoddy if true. I would be very unhappy if I got a Seat (which I nearly did when the Cupra deals were around) on the basis of Android Auto only to find they had deliberately sabotaged it. Google Nav outperforms every integrated Nav system I've ever had.I can't find the reference now, but i'm sure someone with the same system in a Leon would be able to confirm one way or the other.
Manufacturers charging people for Nav, in a world where everyone has an Apple or Android phone, is a ship that has sailed.

Not driven one no but I understand from reviews the engine is very punchy and refined and the 8 speed box much improved over the 6 speed one. Would have liked AWD but not a deal breaker. Had to spec the winter pack at £14pm extra as don't like leather with no heated seats and also has the bonus of heated windscreen.I, like another poster, am coming from a Golf R and just fancy a change and more of a family wagon - this will be the wife's daily.

The Ateca SE has "Full Link" in the specifications, it started to be available on 2016 Leon's I thinkI can't find the reference now, but i'm sure someone with the same system in a Leon would be able to confirm one way or the other.

So Carplay should work - although note the obvious downside, which is that it doesn't work over Bluetooth, only USB

It's just absurd if they are dishing out bogus prices. Logic would suggest they would change the deal once March was out of the question! Unless the brokers aren't sure and so are erring on the side of caution. Go to a dealer and see what they say, and also if you sign up through a dealer there isn't a securing fee so in theory you aren't going to lose anything in the case of a price jump? All a bit trivial if the engine shortage is the case.
Hi guys,
Been helping my brother secure a good Scirocco R deal and can thoroghly recommend Richard Gibson from Windrush VW Camberley.
I called around a number of VW dealers and he gave me a no BS quote that beats the lease companies for a DSG/metallic car.
The quote is as follows:
2k dep
207 a month
5k a year
All Inc Vat. This includes metallic paint and DSG once again.

What was the lead time on that?
Xc60 t5 deals, dealer didn't confirm but said would expect march / April, , but I don't want until May anyway as golf runs until then.Shame they come with rather small wheels and upgrade cost is wild! Dealer is having a look 'out the back' as will cash buy if decent price and swap over, sell on when car goes back... if pay the upgrade, you just give it up at the end... it's only the looks so not worried...

I've always felt that way about upgrading wheels on a lease car. If you want to do it, buy them outright then at the end of the two years you can sell them on eBay and probably only lose 50% of the cost.

Been told this morning by someone at Select cars that Audi aren't taking any more orders on the S5 until the end of the year due to an engine shortage
Odd that this is the same day they announce the SQ5 with the same engine, deliveries in the UK in April according to Autocar!wemorgan said:

Looks like the Mercedes 2017 prices are out. The E Class are more expensive than last year so I guess Jaguar XF will do. Any good deals?. Cheapest I can find is 310 (3+23, 8k is 310)
https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...
Both cars are simila prices from what I see.https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...
It's also worth comparing the spec of each car, as depending on what you like, one car might seem better value than the other.

Are there any sites that allow you to search for deals on just automatic cars? My missus can't drive a manual and a lot of the deals I'm coming across are manual-only.
