We've got the old Tiguan and I'm seeing more and more negative comments about the new one - so there's some hope of deals in the not too distant future.
.
We've got the "old" Tiguan too (150 Tdi match ed) until the end of the year. It's still a better car than more recent competing SUVs (QQ, Tucson, Kadjar, etc...). And it's no more expensive. The new shape in SE Nav is around £60 more a month amortised but is lower spec. That's 25% more. We'll look at extending to a third year if cost effective which may give VW time to lower the price of the new Tig or of the Alteca..
What negative comments have you seen about the new shape ?

Could you possibly stop bhing between yourselves and leave the thread for actual lease deals and discussion please.
This. I have to re-bookmark the last page of the thread about 3 times a day to make sure I know where I read up to. Everytime I come back it's just sewing club chatter.Scotia3k said:

Erm, let me save you a bit of time fella: the arrow button after the final page number of a thread takes you the message you had read up to! (When you're looking at a list of forum threads, or your Bookmarks)foofaroo said:

That looks like a good deal for 10k miles. Where from?XC60 T5 Geartronic SE Nav (Leather) 3 + 23 / 10k per year:

I've been following this thread for over a year now, and this must be one of the quietest periods for deals in that time.
The deal I was lining up for the Seat Leon has now been pulled, so I cannot find one suitable small family car/hatchback option available that meets the 20% lease to RRP ratio. Hope they return soon, I need a car for April.
Maybe it's time to look at..........PCP

You only have to read the news headlines of last week to know why we are not seeing deals. 2016 was a record year for new car sales, so there won't be fields of new cars needing shifted at near zero profit.
There must be a shed load of folk that have put off buying in recent years due to economy that are now at the point of the have to change...

The stupid thing is, the huge number of cheap lease deals is why '16 was a record year for car sales. Those numbers are purely vehicles registered, so take into account fleet and lease sales. It does seem pretty slim pickings at the moment, in the same boat as above and needing something sorted for April.
Speak to us and Wessex, loads of deals out there already. Also, as stated in previous posts, anyone looking to take a car in April this year it may be prudent to make sure your car is registered in March to avoid the new Vehicle Excise Duty.
Thank you

March to June would be my sweet spot, for Early September delivery - if there are any marketing forecast types reading this
2.5L or larger, petrol capable of 30 to the gallon. 340i touring with a pricing error would be lovely.
