Would prefer if it was a 4dr.
Fair enough. Though some people might see the estate being cheaper than the saloon/coupe as a bonus. I prefer the looks of the estate too. Depends if you want to save £700 or not. But each to their own. smile

Looking for a high mileage barge lease for a couple of years. Ive been offered a S90 3+23 @ 30k miles P.A for £440. Looks reasonable to start with but this would be my first lease so would value some more experienced opinion on it. Thanks
Where is this deal please?

Me and my brother in law have exactly the same car, a 2015 Golf R Manual with winter pack and reverse camera, both with around 16k on. VWFS offered him his car for £21300 which imo isn't bad? I can't get the value for mine as site doesn't like iPads!
Yeah the above info about not being able to buy your leased car is totally wrong. It may be the case with some brands but vwfs do offer you the car at the end - they even write to you.

Price on mine was okish but not a total bargain. Chosen to extend for 12 more months as the figure is very reasonable.

Having secured one of the Audi Allroads from Central UK my local dealer has now pretty much matched the price and will throw in a free service.

Does anyone know if the 14 day cooling off period applies to a car lease order?

Central's Ts&Cs state a cancellation penalty is payable, but is this enforceable?

Otherwise, anyone want to take over an order on a white Audi A4 Allroad Sport 3.0 S Tronic at £2400 down and £251.99/month foe 10k miles/year?

Presumably you're fine to cancel but will lose your admin fee.

You've signed an order agreeing to the terms which include the cancellation fee though?

The only people that can answer your question is the dealer really

Anyone heard of CHL contracts?

Are they a reputable company, I've seen them on contract hire and leasing but seen no reviews for the company.

Cheers smile

There doesn't seem to have been any good deals on premium diesel saloons or coupes for ages (£400 per month/15k). Really keen to fist the kumquat and get some new metal! So frustrating.

Might have to look at buying at this rate although the depreciation / running costs on a 3yr old £20k car makes it hardly cheaper than leasing new. Is it normal for deals to go quiet at this time of year?

Considering trying to transfer my lease deal on my Golf R estate through VWFS as I can't justify the fuel bill when I literally never get the opportunity to drive fast because it always has my baby boy in it! Anyone done this before? I know people have mentioned that it can only be transferred to a business? It's a £1500 initial rental with £215pm for 10k per annum and I am 5 months into the deal.

You've just missed the boat on the discounted 5-series.
Next best is the E220d 9+23 £220+vat for 10k.
15k are 10-15% more.

Damn, I might have to see what the implications of running that R Estate on a business lease are.

Usually when you transfer a lease there's simply a fee, then you take over the payments. Not ideal for you as you lose the £1500 up front, but good for the one who takes over.

What colour/spec?

The inference there is that you'll happily drive fast on your own, as if you do crash, you'll just hurt other people and not your own?

I know you won't like me saying that, but /shrug

Can anyone offer a word of advice as to whether this deal is any good? Golf MK7 1.6 TDI DSG 5 door Match edition, has heated seats, sat nav etc. 164.50 x 6+23 plus VAT, 10k PA mileage and a fee of 199? Comes to just under 2.5k/year according to my calculation, without VAT
That's more than my gti!

White with no options as winter pack was standard. Done 3.5k, so under on the mileage.
