Hi Everyone,

Need a new car for my better half. What's currently the best deal for a Polo gti or something similar needs to look a little bit sporty.

Thanks

Damn, I might have to see what the implications of running that R Estate on a business lease are.

Usually when you transfer a lease there's simply a fee, then you take over the payments. Not ideal for you as you lose the £1500 up front, but good for the one who takes over.

What colour/spec?
White with no options as winter pack was standard. Done 3.5k, so under on the mileage.
Could be interested (I have a business so can do either way).

Presume DSG and black interior?

The inference there is that you'll happily drive fast on your own, as if you do crash, you'll just hurt other people and not your own?

I know you won't like me saying that, but /shrug
Or maybe he just doesn't want baby puke all over VWFS's interior?

Anything about on a VX Astra, Renault Clio/Megane or DS3?
Yes try Jet vehicle finance, look at the 'new astra', there's some great deals on some high spec astras (I have the elite Nav and love it)

That was the deal hundreds of people got a few months back and most taken delivery in the last few weeks. Base spec on GTI is very good too. Nav, adaptive cruise, keyless entry/go, keyless lock, heated seats.

Neither, seems extortionate. The thing with deals is that you must be patient and be ready to act. Timing rarely suits otherwise you will pay over the odds like you are looking to do.

Can you buy something decent, fairly deprecation proof, until that happens?

Problem is my a3 lease ends in feb, so having to get an in stock car, hence the prices

Can you buy something private so you don't need to pay over the odds just because your a3 lease ends and you are restricted on your timing?

Assuming these are two year deals, you just need to ask yourself if having the R is worth the extra £1500 and extra running costs over the term. Probably looking at 10mpg difference real world average.

Where was that GTi deal from?

I could do, or be insured on a family members car. Although it just adds inconvenience as I tend to work shifts

Take over my R Estate deal! 19 months left, 10k per year, £1000 to me and £215 per month. That's £267.63pm.

I had not realised that the new Golf was due out in a few months - according to the VW dealer I spoke to at the weekend, VW have stopped making the Mk7 Golf and they only have stock cars available. Hopefully this means some cheap lease deals on the last ones as they clear out space.
