Volvo S90 D4 (190bhp with 8 speed auto) Inscription, 18 months 2k plus 250 x 17 plus vat for 14k miles/year. Not massively cheap but a very comfortable place for 18 months. Volvo have it absolutely loaded with technology including LED headlights, high beam assist, adaptive cruise, lane assist, 18" alloys, electric seats/mirrors, 13.2" screen, theatre lighting and ambient lighting, nappa leather and walnut wood inlays.

Why would you choose a BMW/Merc/Audi when this is available ?

4yrs in the outgoing model for almost £19k?

Can't see the logic unfortunately. But you're happy which is all that matters!
In a very slow oil burning barge too, sounds like purgatory. Also, having a lease car outside of the warranty period seems unwise.

Just signed up to a current (not new model) BMW 520d M Sport Plus saloon:
6 x 47 at £355 inc VAT, fully maintained.
10k miles
Excess 14ppm

I know a new model is imminent, but seems like a bargain to me for a car this size. Non-maintained is £300/month and probably better value, but went with maintained for peace of mind over 4yrs.
2yr deals are usually only ~10% more and you'll then not need the expensive maintenance fee.

The tiguan looks like it might be out for me due to lead times. I'm going to need it within a month... Anyone know if that's realistic or whether I should look elsewhere?
I think places have the SE Nav in stock, but the SEL is 3 months and the R-Line is longer due to bumper shortages.
Dealer told me on Monday Evening that the wait is at least 12 months for the R.

BMW have just significantly reduced the cover of the service pack such as if youre doing average miles its just not worth it

Still not sure of 4y in a lease car though
I get the predictability however my own sums came up with less total cost and no overheads (eg service, tyres, brakes) by taking x2 24 month contracts and doubling your new car euphoria smile

Cheers

They have a few other stock 520d M Sport Plus available (Space Grey with oyster leather), and a couple of highly specced 530d's, although they are coming in at £428/month inc VAT, same terms.

Contact me for details and I can introduce to the broker.
Sorry, but that sounds absolutely abysmal. Nice spec and all, and for £300/m it's fine, but an extra £2,900 for 4 years maintenance on a 40k miles deal is a bit nuts.

As has been said, you'll only need 1 set of tyres and no more than 2 services. Am I missing something?

I'm sure only a month these were going for £200-250pm on a 9+23.

BMW 420d M Sport Coupe 1+47 at £379 per month? 8k per annum, 9.42 pence excess

Not for me, but seems quite good overall considering small deposit.

Obscure car, but may be useful for someone with a big family.

Citroen Space Tourer Diesel Estate 1.6 BlueHDi 5dr with 9 seats (basically a minibus).

For comparison, the deal works out around ~19% of the £25k RRP for 5k mpa over 2 years (NB: actual lease is for 18 months):

I posted a few pages back re the deal Select have on this - £4,600 over the 2 year term for 8k per year

3 + 23 = £170p/m

I went to my local Citroen dealer yesterday to see if I could have a look around but they don't have any in stock yet.

I have absolutely no need for one, however, it appeals for some stupid/strange reason

Four years with a 218d AT sounds a bit like my idea of hell! Good deal though.

4 years in any car doesn't appeal to me! Unless it's a V10 with 400+ HP then I could cope I guess.

Everything seems really expensive, no sign of these new year/new quarter deals!!

Can't see this getting any better, PCH seems to have caught up with buying and PCP, ah well had a couple of cheap cars.

I get where you're coming from, but you'll probably find that the service pack is only available against retail sales. A lease, personal or otherwise isn't a retail sale
