Bit annoyed.

Was all due to get the Ioniq Mid March...
Got an E-mail today saying they have none (even though they apparently checked end of last week that they had stock) and I'd be looking at April/May !!!

I found a car at a dealership in the spec I want though. But it's £249 a month and £249 down instead of £229. Meh.

I am half tempted to go tomorrow or scrap the whole idea and get a Fiesta ST-Line 140 Nav. Just want it sorted before the bloody tax changes.
Hybrid or elec ? we ordered a factory build Ionic early feb for delivery mid March no drama from Holdcroft.

The below deal works out £500 cheaper. Would be so tempted if I hadn't just signed on the dotted line frown

Nice!

I posted some similar deals floating around last year but IIRC, those deals back then required a bigger deposit.

Be interested to hear if anyone "pulls the trigger" on such a deal. If I didn't already have a car on order I'd be very tempted!

Hi guys Im really interested in the Ioniq, had a sit in one and thought it was pretty good spec was nice. Anyway Im waiting for a test drive but what sort of deals are you getting. Having looked no one can touch ALM Garages on leasing but in email conversations im not 100% convinced by them.

I was very close to ordering one last year, then I came over all sensible and bought a 996 instead biggrin

You can get an Octavia vRS TDi DSG for less than that. Far more car and kit for the money.

http://www.hubleasing.com/personal-lease-cars/skod...

Also Hub have no fees and have vehicles in stock.

Not massively less, and a 1.6 TDi will be anything but quick, but if you prefer the Audi, the Skoda isn't in a completely different league. If I wanted an A3 then the 1.4 Sport saloon at £10 less per month from Lease Comparison would be worth a look - more performance, more zest, and remarkable economy for a petrol engine (I've driven both in the Octavia).

Agree it's all down to personal taste. But I think you'd have to be wrong in the head to choose a 116hp poorly specced A3 over a 184bhp vRS!

Argh this is tempting! Is the Alfa 4C any good in terms of handling, reliability etc? Deal seems too good, and as my Golf R is going back on Monday (i may start crying...) it might fill a void...

Although this Aston offer is tempting too!

Admittedly I've never driven a vRS, but an A3 is a zesty thing with a really good driving position and sharper handling than an Octavia. It's also a bit smaller and easier to park and generally feels much more compact - it reminds me of a Peugeot 306 I had a decade ago. (And the Sport isn't that bad though I would like parking sensors). Not just a badge thing at all, even though I really rate the Octavia at what it does.

I can see why it's a cancelled order now ha ha, I would prefer the Octavia myself, but I'm not in the market for anything to be honest.

Before I start trawling and losing my mind at out of date/fictional deals does anyone know of any very good deals on big estates? Superb/Passat/Mondeo upwards. Diesel, auto. Not too fussed on a premium brand but needs to be a good car with at a decent price with sensible additional mileage charges as my travel varies widely.

The Passat at CUVL is currently quite good: https://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/vehicle/...

actually, mileage throws it out...

Really? A car in the class below is smaller?

Audi's with their low spec irk me. They're nice inside, granted, but the low spec just doesn't sit well with me. I have driven a boggo spec A3 and the pre-facelift VRS, and whilst the VRS feels like a barge, the handling and roll was surprisingly on point. That being said, some people aren't interested in parking sensors etc and just want a car to go from A to B and like audi, so who am I to say otherwise. It's all relative eh.

So did Top Gear Magazine, but got 4.5 stars overall in Autocar. Very varying outcomes!

This is why I really really need to stop reading this thread..... Had I not signed up for the Scirocco, I would have been all over that! Damnit!
