I'm deciding between a Fiesta ST-Line and an M140i.
Have you seen any good deals on the m140?

Just to add a word of warning to the how to get cheap mileage thread, beware if you go to Merc for this.
I have a SEAT and reduced from 50k total, to 40k after 13 months and got £500 off the total payable (so 5ppm).

Told a friend who changed job to a 50/50 home/field role the same as me.

He has an E class on 3 yrs and 90k as he wanted to reduce to 60k total (after 1 year)
£11 a month off! So a total of £264 less for 30k less miles. Less than 1p per mile.
Then they let him know there was a £117.50 plus Vat admin fee yikes
He is now driving to Italy and France for his next two holidays.

I think MBFS worked it out to include any change in expected end of lease residuals, and they work it out off them. With a new E class out, the old model must have dipped more than they thought.

I've just signed up for 2yrs in a Seat Ateca S 1.0 tsi. £147 3+23. Cheap 2nd car.
£147 inc tax? What mileage? Have they given you a delivery expectation yet?

Edited by Chucklehead on Saturday 25th February 07:36
Yeah inc vat.
6k a year (need 8k but it's cheaper taking the penalty at 3.6ppm)
Delivery 10-12 weeks, which ties in with my other lease getting handed back.
Deal is with National Vehical Solutions.

Is there any good deals on at the moment for Land Rover Evoques or Tiguan R Line?
I have to opt out my company car policy as they are scrapping it so looking at around 15k miles.
Ideally auto with sat nav so probably se tech in the evoque. 4wd isn't important to me.
Think leasing is the way to go over pcp looking at the deals so far but any help is useful.

I inquired about a R line Touareg via Uchoose.
For some reason I failed the credit check, very odd.
I've been leasing for the past 6 years too.
Did they then say "...but we should be able to find you something else"? It's Friday and it's been a long week so I may be being overly cynical but it could be that they were offering you something that they then found they couldn't deliver.
That's pretty much exactly what they said!
I'm popping along to my local VW dealer to chat direct.

Hi all a while since posting, but of course, lease time soon, isn't it?

Leon FR goes back in June, and mrs still has an A3 on PCP.

We have a small human now, and neither is quite big enough to cart everything etc...zzzz....

Have been keeping an eye on Honda CR-V deals, and the 1.6 iDTEC SE Plus seems to be the best I can find at the moment, at around £250 p/m on a 1+23 at Marshall York with 8k miles.

Experience of the CR-V is good in the past, as the boot is a decent size (589 litres) and the driving position is what the wife would prefer. Has anyone seen via email/FB etc any comparatively decent deals of late?

New Tiguan looks nice, but boot is a shade smaller and I've not seen any "great" deals in this class, other than Ateca with 1.0t engines (I think my wife might find the diesel engine preferable, due to torque).

As always - thoughts greatly appreciated!

Been lurking for a few weeks, found a nice Polo GTI deal (see image attached).

I was wondering whether anybody has seen any decent deals on Ibiza Cupra Black's, I missed out on a 6+23 @ 180-ish with 15k miles a couple of months ago and haven't seen anything decent since. I'm also interested in Leon Cupra 300's. Basically anything on a 2 year lease, 0-60 in under 8s preferably below £250 amortized.

That's a good deal, approx. 30% of RRP over 3 years/30k, also bonus points because the car isn't often discussed in these threads!

As its a stock car, any additional options that makes it even better?

That's a pretty decent price.

I've got an Smax on a 1+47 lease with AVC, fully maintained (tyres etc) paying £350 a month. Just about to go into its final year with it and no real complaints it's been a really good family hack.

Mines the old 140bhp 2.0tdi the only down side id say is fuel economy. We get about 36mpg avg in it. I'm not sure what the 150 figures are like. Front tyres only last 11k miles as well on the 4th set of fronts. If it's the 7 seater then the pop up seats are only use for young kids. Nice to have but I've only use a couple times.

Some decent offers going on Kuga as well Ive noticed, 200 on a zetec(1.5) and another 40ish a month for the st-line. Now it's a bit smaller inside but the new model looks quite sharp with the meatier front grill etc

Sorry, 10k and the GTD is a manual.

A few places doing £262 on a 6+23 for the GTD. One example:

Using your 6+17 deal (and assuming there's a £200 admin fee on top) - total payable over a 18 month term = £4547.

You can get the same car for 24 months with more mileage for cheaper - £4438 payable over the term: http://www.whatcar.com/car-leasing/deals/nissan/ju...

Effectively, you have the same car for an extra 6 months for free, loads more miles and change leftover for 2 tanks of fuel.

I hate to say this, especially as I welcome lease deals being posted by brokers when it is a genuinely good deal, but to headline those rates as 'great value deals' and 'special rates' is just a bit silly.

A large number of deals get cheaper over a longer period, this is no exception. Offering the option of 18 month agreements will suit some who require a shorter term.

Seems like an excellent deal and in before the VED increase

3+23 - £365 inc Vat per month 10k miles per annum.

I'd have ordered this if not going through a mortgage application just now frown
