A large number of deals get cheaper over a longer period, this is no exception. Offering the option of 18 month agreements will suit some who require a shorter term.
I guess it'll suit some people if they're bonkers or emigrating in 18 months.

Taking your offer as a standalone deal - it works out about 25% of the car's RRP for 18 months with 5k pa. As a general rule of thumb on here, anything less than 25% is a good deal based on a 2 year lease deal with 10k pa. So, when corrected (in order to calculate a 2 year deal with 10k pa), your deal works out about 40% of the car's RRP which is a bit ridiculous for a Juke. Doesn't help when a couple of headline titles are squeezed in...

Maybe it's just me, but I'll await other people's opinions.

I can't see the value in that either.

Seems like an excellent deal and in before the VED increase

3+23 - £365 inc Vat per month 10k miles per annum.

I'd have ordered this if not going through a mortgage application just now frown
Welcome to PH, bit of an odd first post though to take the trouble to register for this
Its a decent enough deal but not spectacular, my 335d touring cost less in the autumn by way of example

The 2wd 330d is only hit by a modest increase under the new regs so no need to panic

Cheers

You completely missed his point. If there's a deal for the same vehicle, over a longer term, for less overall money, what on earth do you think people will choose? I'm not the first and won't be the last to say this, you haven't posted a single decent deal since you started posting here...

But the other deal would still be cheaper if you handed it back after 18 months and they still stung you for all the remaining payments if the figures posted are correct.
Nothing against you posting on this thread. Buuuuuuuuut...... I don't know if you've noticed but if anyone posts an average deal it soon gets trumped. This is great if you're looking for the best deal.
Not so good for the brand if you are constantly being pointed out as not the cheapest.

I inquired about a R line Touareg via Uchoose.
For some reason I failed the credit check, very odd.
I've been leasing for the past 6 years too.
This is my first lease deal I've went for so will let you know how I get on.
I'm not expecting any issues as I've never had any credit problems before.
Nor have I.
Just to update you, this went through in about half an hour with no issues.

Got my deal on an R line Toureag from uchoose.
9 + 35
£3440.12 + £382.24.

It was the best deal I could find on 10,000miles per year.

Looking to order a A5 coupe 2.0 TFSI S-Line.

Personal, 6+23 looks like being circa £380 including Vat, metallic paint and a couple of cheap additions.

This decent enough value and/or opinions on engine welcomed. Going from a 2.0 TDI A6.

Likely ordering the manual.

If it's the 7 seater then the pop up seats are only use for young kids. Nice to have but I've only use a couple times.
Disagree with that. I've sat comfortably in the back row of ours with my old man next to me and I'm fully representative of a body form often discussed on PH! You do need to slide the middle row forward though.

Agree on the fuel; ours is a 180bhp and it gets low 30s MPG over mixed driving. A great family car though.

Looking to lease my first car, and am wondering if this looks as good a deal as it seems:

VOLKSWAGEN Golf Estate
2.0 Tsi 310 R 5dr Awd Dsg

Initial rental of £2,635.02 followed by 35 x £292.78
Based on an annual mileage of 8,000 miles

I've been registered for over a month now but have been lurking. Saw what I thought was a good deal and posted. I'm sorry you find that odd :dunno:

I think it's a good deal for now with prices in general increasing and great deals being few and far between. Would love a 335d but with it being over 40k, I don't see the value in it over the 330d unfortunately frown

A price of a pint a month cheaper than Vehicle Savers! However, "looks like" a good deal is about right, because I did the maths on the Vehicle Savers price and it comes in at 30% of RRP (over two years). You're looking at a three year deal so you'll likely have an extra service but I don't know how bad that is.

It's easy for all of us in the thread to obsess over the deals of last year, but with feet on the ground and if you're looking now, is 5k a year for this car worth it? Well it's cheaper than an S3 and I can't think of many other direct comparison alternatives...

I'm looking to lease the 3 series, and would be interested in the 335d. I'm probably not understanding correctly, but why would it matter if the car is over 40k? For a lease I thought the leasing company would pay the road tax for the duration of the lease (2 years)?

The road tax is included in the lease costs. So cars >£40k will cost you more to lease after April.

Cars with a list price of over £40k will cost an extra £450 a year to tax, so around £40 a month more than if it was registered in April

Mostly correct

The 335d emits 151g of CO2 and so is hit with £500 on first registration (compared to £200 for the 330d) and then a flat rate of £140 each year after plus the 40k list price surcharge of £310 for years 2-5 which the 330d escapes as it costs less than the threshold

Or in other words the best 335d deals are currently asking for a 9 month deposit not 6 as was the case in the autumn presumably to cover this - the lease company pays the road tax, not the keeper

Cheers

Noticed on my Noddle report that VWFS have stuck the balance of the PCH onto my credit report as an operating lease.
So 23x£189 in my case.

Not unexpected but worth knowing for those looking at mortgages etc. (It also made my credit score go up I think)

The other car (PCP) is on for the outstanding balance including final payment.

Doesn't that make the 335d deals from the above link quite good then:

https://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/BMW_3...

Haven't done the maths. Just looked pretty reasonable at a glance.

Might be the best available or thereabouts. Prices will stay high with the new VED/tax, and it being a new model. The prices will probably get more competitive once everyone who wants to buy one has bought and they end up with the inevitable spare factory capacity, then they might release those as lease deals.... like they've done fairly frequently for the non-facelift model.

I got an R Estate on one of those limited deals last year. £1500 deposit, £240 a month including metallic paint, 2 years, 10k miles. Some were getting them for £215/month without metallic paint.

But, as someone else said, if you need to order now then you can only compare to other deals available now.... or you can wait. But if you really want an R Estate then my guess is that you won't see any particularly good deals until later in the year.

Man, SCL got shot down. And with good reason too. Not really the place to try and pull the wool over peoples eyes.
