Got my SKODA OCTAVIA HAT 2.0 TDI CR VRS yesterday, from Hub Leasing which were excellent throughout, took 4 weeks from ordering.

There were only a few to choose from a the time as of course they not being made any more due to the FL Mk3 which looks really horrible from the front imo, glad i went for this shape.

Not mind a blowing deal but details below:

Skoda Octavia vRS 5dr Hatchback 2.0TDI 184ps - 6 speed manual – Race Blue metallic with vRS upholstery with Grey trim and Silver stitching

Factory options:
Metallic paint (free of charge)
Black design package plus (19” Extreme alloys, Sunset glass, Colour MAXI DOT trip computer, Black radiator surround, Black mirror covers)

3+23 £247 inc vat on a 10K a year

£13 inc vat per month extra fully maintained (tyres, servicing etc)
7.2p per mile inc vat
£0 Fees
Transporter delivery

works out to be 24.5% of RRP

I must admit, I have no idea what they were doing signing that new front end off. Would have been wanted a pre facelift if I was getting one. Having said that they are still good cars for the money on the facelift so even if it's a bit ugly still worth the coin IMO.

I recommended to someone at dinner that they get a cheap lease as apposed to them buying a <£1500 car, having seen lots of Citroen C1 etc deals over the past year or so at good prices. Just looked at contracthireandleasing and there's only one car on 3+23 under £125/month. Do we need to wait for the new financial year for good deals.. or?

I've got one of these going back in June, it's certainly German and rapid, although not a 1 series and this deal is back to the price I paid nearly two years ago after being much higher recently.

335d, 8000 miles, on 9 + 23 so £2691 + 23 x £299.

Thanks peperami and above poster :-)

Just checked and they dont come with heated seats as standard, and ideally I would want the m sport pack, but thats 2k alone!

Did you just have yours as it comes or did you add options?
The missus has got the convertible 435d m sport and comes with heated seats - pretty sure they were std - worth double checking? She added the 19" wheels/brakes/speakers pack and central arm rest for iirc £20pm.

As poster above said, bit tractor at startup but inside you get a decent 6 pot growl and feck me is it fast!!

It looks as though the new G30 BMW has good initial residual values, a guy at work has ordered a 2.0d SE Auto, 65k miles over 3 years and its GFV is at about £19k, so 50%. That's through Alphabet, so obviously supported by BMW.

Would love one, sat in one at a dealer while looking at the 3 series, interior is mint! Over my preferred budget though sadly

I've ordered the facelifted model using logic in some combination of
~ the front end will probably grow on me
~ I'll be sat inside so i don't have to look at it anyway
~ the upgraded satnav makes it worth it!

Went for the same race blue metallic but with the silver Gemini alloys. There's a similar one in the work car park with that combination and looks pretty smart.

Not especially. Just keep looking, good deals come and go. Keep an eye on run out models.

Nice one mate. When does it arrive? I was looking for low upfront instead of the Huge £2400 that most places tend to have like Simpsons Skoda etc

Horton Skoda as lovsn said on previous page, 3+23 so a lower initial.

Does a 3+35 not reduce the payments substantially?

If i recall correctly the 3+35 plan had the same monthlies.

As normal they said factory order is 8-12 weeks, though I've said I'd like it delivered late July if possible to coincide with the end of my current lease. They seemed to be fine with that.
