A 'good' deal is where the amount you pay over the term of the lease is calculated to be less than 25% of the RRP (or best available offer sale price.)
The lease deal here is c. £8k. If the purchase RRP is £32k then it's exactly 25%. HTH
So the deal I am looking at is terrible as its 42% ?!?!?The lease deal here is c. £8k. If the purchase RRP is £32k then it's exactly 25%. HTH

On the other hand I get to miss out on the experience of taking a car round various dealers for PX prices or putting it for sale in Autotrader and interacting with the public when its time to move on. Shame.......
Gutted for you! Bet you miss the test pilots and tyre kickers!justa1972 said:

Over how many years and what mileage?I'm going for the Q30 1.5 SE deal posted a while ago... Which is £4,408 including fees on 3+23 with 8k miles (although I've gone for 12.5k)
That's 20% of the £22,170 asking price and they'd have to discount it by £5k (unlikely) to make it 25% so seems good?

Looking for deals on tiguan, ateca or similar. Must be auto - 1.4tsi ot diesel fine (i think). Best i can fine is £239 6+35 so far on an ateca. 30pm more for tiguan.
www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk had better deals than that on the 1.4 DSG Ateca albeit with a big deposit. I got a dealer to match their price with a smaller upfront but they asked for me not to share their details online for some reason. Another dealer would probably do a similar deal.I am looking at 2 cars at completely different ends of the spectrum and was wondering if the Smartlease website is legit and if these are good deals as the Fiesta ST3 deal seems too good to be true!
Nissan Juke Tekna (Had one before and liked it)
http://www.smartlease.co.uk/nissan-juke-tekna-car-...
and the ST3

Alternatively is there anything around for about 1k deposit and no more than 250 a month?

I'm pretty sure (although it's early and the smart lease website is a bit confusing) that the Nationwide Vehicle Contracts deal I posted for the ST3 a few pages back is cheaper than that.Nissan Juke Tekna (Had one before and liked it)

It is cheap but it's an outgoing model that's in stock so they are possibly just trying to shift them.

Has anyone got any recommendations for GAP insurance? I used ALA on my last lease and they are coming out at ~£125 this time round, I am looking for £15000 cover, and initial payment of £1000 covered.
Look at https://totallossgap.co.uk/ALA have a discount for PH members, and claim they'll "guaranteed" to price match, although they refused to when I asked
