Got a couple of good offers.

CK - triple pack - 89p per month inc VAT on a 3+23 term.

Primark - 6-pack - 69p per month inc VAT on a 3+23 term.

Maintenance package adds 5p per month.

Generous wear and tear guidelines too - the odd skid mark, a couple of holes (no bigger than 5mm) etc. is fine. Deals are with Central Undies Leasing UK (CUL UK) and Undies4Less (U4L).

£249.99 admin fee.

Free nationwide delivery.
Wow, the admin fee dramatically reduces the viability of the deal!
Probably going to be worth getting GAP insurance.

Oops, missed that - in that case it's probably pretty good for a 4WD. Obvious question - is 4WD essential?
we live in ilkley and our driveway in particular is steep (1 in 5) so although not a must have for most of the year, a nice to have especially as its going to be ferrying the wife and two kids about... might use it for odd jaunt to the alps for ski too.....

Yeah, looks like a good deal, until you add the essential options, button opening at the front and superman logo, without them your looking at 2 years of regret.

Regarding lease extensions - we lease through Select (backed off through Arval) and the lease ends this Dec for our Polo GTI. Had confirmation we can extend for a further 12 months at the same monthly - £134.

Always worth a call or email before your lease expires if you would be happy to keep the car for another year.
Wasn't it a bit too early asking for extension? I'm going to ask VWFS about 6 months before expiration of the lease.

Not really. I went to VW when I had my R and asked the same question 9 months before the lease was up, 2 months before and a few weeks before (when i cancelled the second R that was at the dealer ready to collect) and each time the quoted price for extending by 12 months was different. Weirdly the 2 month before quote was the cheapest not the last one i got. I was also sent a letter offering a buy price for the car.
I think the result i got shows there is no harm in asking early. Very happy to keep the Polo GTI for another year at 134 a month and the wife really likes the car.Ill be honest i like driving it as well - fills a bit of the void left by the R.
If they had given a high price I would of looked elsewhere. A question I was asking when looking around is what is the latest possible date i can take delivery if i place an order. CVL who have the R's and GTI's on an 'offer' at the moment can deliver as late as end of Sept. Select can often do end of the current year.

Just had a (main) dealer back out from my S5 order, quoted me a good price, generated the order form but refused to give me the quote for the finance. Two weeks later I finally get it from him and of course it's higher than he offered.

Anyone got any PCH deals on the S5 sport back close to what he was offering?

Ibis white, virtual cockpit, hill hold.

£3600 down, £346 per month. Both including VAT.

Well, taking off 75 for hill hold and 250 for VC, I'd say you had a good price there - but there's not a lot in it.

Over the 2y I'm spending £350 more. And I'm saving over £6000 compared to a 2y PCP so... you probably just need to phone around some Dealers or check contracthireandleasing. I ordered through Audi Eastbourne (I don't live anywhere near there).

Not disputing that at all. I just like my cars being clean inside and out. It might be a lease but I still wouldnt drive around in a car that hasnt been washed more than once. Were all different though! You dont take the same approach to your undies do you?
Well, he might if he leased his undies!

A sprogmobile is a regular car with some wet wipes in the glove box....that thing is a bus.

Not sure how many kids you need to have one of those! I got through 4 children without ever having to get my HGV licence!!

Nicely specced as well to be fair and 15k pa! HUD, Fridge, cupboards, heated seats, easy entry pack (keyless entry?), parking sensors/cameras, Hi-Fi pack. I just need to have a few kids then I can justify one!
