New E Class E220D Amg Line Coupe (looks to be new Coupe):

£312 per month on a 3 + 35

WOW - if any wants that phone now, don't delay as that's amazing.
That has to be a typo, the other deals are all £4000 upfront and £500 a month?

If anyone does, please double check it's the new model. (it purports to be on the website).

it's a in-stock car and it's the end of the month - stranger things have been genuine.

That doesn't seem like a great deal.

It's around £1000 per year more than I'm paying for my estate with half the mileage allowance.
Yes, but it's not that bad when you consider it's taking into account the new VED rates.

As an aside, I've ordered a FL R Estate for the same price as that manual hatch.
Fair enough, I hadn't considered the VED changes.
Do VED rates make that much of a difference? I thought on the FLGolf R the difference in VED 2016 v 2017 was around £300.

That would have been an old model E Coupe (if you can find one). There are no deals on new E Coupe, we have zero support on it at present, so £500 a month is where it is at the moment and probably will be for a few months at least. Our new E Coupe demo turned up this week, it's lovely! I hope it appears on my company car list ready for when my C Class is due to go back. Not that I've picked that up yet, as I've been bumped off the PDI list as we're swamped. It's been here for a month!

I think the new E Class coupe looks fantastic and is far better proportioned than the C Class Coupe whose rear sits too high and looks melted around the edges. Only blot on the ointment for the new E coupe is that additional split in the rear quarter window. Why oh why they did that i dont know. Spec the privacy glass and it would become a non-issue however. I dont get what all the fuss is about on the Merc interiors though - I think they are quite cheap and tacky looking. All personal taste though

What is it with MB and having red cars for press shots at the moment? Looks bloody awful, as did the E-Class All-Terrain.

I like red car, I had a Hyacinth CLS Shooting Brake biggrin

The split in the rear window is because the rear window goes down, they can't do it with the full width window hence the split.

Don't say you're swamped. I need a bargain come August!

Does anyone know why you never see a good deal on the mazda cx5? On contracthireandleasing the cheapest 2 deals i could fine for an auto were about 290/month with a pretty big initial payment.

Seems odd for a car that is getting on, about to be replaced, cost 25 grand new and seems to hold its value.

Kodiaqs/tiguans/atecas etc are all way cheaper.

Any ideas?

Mazda is almost never cheap on lease. Not every company is trying to flood the market with their products.

I saw new E-class coupe on a street a few days ago and it looks quite good. In my opinion better than C-class coupe. However I still hate interior: vents, shape of seat memory buttons and other stuff.

Same here - yet the motoring press rave about them. Maybe when every possible extra is fitted they scrub up ok!

Increase from 1st April 2017 VED rates are £355 over a 2 year lease and £265 over a 3 year lease.

The increases, I feel, have been greatly exaggerated by a few of the leasing companies, probably to increase sales up to end of March. Yes, it may put prices up by £15pm, but it might not. There should be more transparency IMO.

There are of course some cars where the increases will have greater effect, particularly low/high emission cars greater than £40k.

We'll be gearing up for September then should have plenty of stock. I reckon we'll have registered around 2500 cars in March come close of play Friday. I have a love/hate relationship with registration change months

I test drove one and in Sport Nav trim they are very nice. Unfortunately for lease purposes they seem to have terrible residuals which pushes the lease cost up.

That said if I were in the market to buy then a 2 year old Mazda 6 with motorway miles would be a very sensible purchase.

Didn't bother calculating it but Stable have just e-mail an 'on fire' deal to lease an R8 for about £70k over three years. April fools is Saturday right?
