Don't do it. We've got a really well specced one and it's an awful car. No matter how good the deal is, it would never be good enough to get us into another oneJaguar XE 2.0d 180 R Sport Auto

I make it nearly £30k for 20k miles over 4 years. A whopping 60% of list. I also would definitely not be leasing a land rover outside of warranty at the moment, a few friends of mine have had no end of issues with their evoque's and disco sports.
It's not even a good deal but if you want a decent mid-sized SUV, so many better options...

Currently considering an offer on the new octavia VRS from Hub Leasing which is better than the Simpsons offer.
The Hub rep mentioned VED potentially being added on but didn't make it sound like a certainty. Got a few more firms trying to compete, and 2 have agreed to match the deal. However, one (who cant compete) has told me he thinks there's no profit in the deal I've quoted and that the VED will be wacked on once the contract starts.
Thoughts??
I've just ordered a Kia Optima Sportwagon level 3 spec (24x £235pm) yesterday, the dealer is trying to push the deal through by today in order to avoid the VED increase (~£15pm). It's in stock in a Kia warehouse somewhere, but if a car/registration allocated/taxed isn't arranged today then the deal is off.The Hub rep mentioned VED potentially being added on but didn't make it sound like a certainty. I imagine some dealers may have quoted incorrectly, but I'm not sure how they could pass on the increased cost once the finance agreement is signed - unless they cancel the entire deal?

Not a good deal in my view. Leasing for that long with that mileage at that price doesnt make senseDiscovery sport 2.0 hse

Just terrible. And an auto HSE list price is only £39,800 anyway. Under £36K after discount. Please tell me you haven't added £10K of options on a lease vehicle?.I make it nearly £30k for 20k miles over 4 years. A whopping 60% of list.
A personal four-year lease deal sounds a really bad idea regardless.
Have to say I'm unconvinced about the higher spec Disco Sports anyway. SE Tech with a few options seems to be the sweet spot.

Basically they leave a clause in the deal to say if they cannot supply at that price then they can alter the price but you can cancel at that time.I imagine some dealers may have quoted incorrectly, but I'm not sure how they could pass on the increased cost once the finance agreement is signed - unless they cancel the entire deal?

Cheap SUV? Hyundai Tuscon at £199 inc VAT on a 3+23 8k miles (£5174). Plus fee I imagine. Works out at around 23% of RRP.

We were looking at these and that's a good deal, but we decided that 13.7s to 60 is on the wrong side of "adequate". It would have to be one of the other engines.http://www.ukcarcontracts.co.uk/car-leasing-hyunda...
Performance
Engine power 114 bhp
Engine size 1685 cc
Brochure Engine size 1.7 litres
Acceleration (0-60mph) 13.7 seconds
Top speed 109 mph
Drivetrain Front Wheel Drive
I found these on youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUo4zlUAo3s
0-62 10.8s
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKbcYsvrw_U
0-62 11.5s (traction control flashed so not an ideal run)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OF3C-Qu3Nms
0-62 11s
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mz-bavVqAyA
0-72 11.7s
Then I checked the specs again - it's 80 bhp/ton, which isn't great, but is comparable to others, for example:
Qashqai 1.5 dCi = 79 bhp/ton
Quoted 0-62 is 11.9s
Vauxhall Mokka 1.6 CDTi (110) = 78.6 bhp/ton
Quoted 0-62 is 11.9s
Based on all that, I thought it would be only fair to give it a shot. Test drove one yesterday. It's nowhere near fast, but I don't believe that it's 13.7s. It's acceptable... just. Anyway I liked it enough to order one
Moderately good deal on a 335d Xdrive:

Not amazing but haven't seen better for a while.
