Hi
I m in uni and planning to buy a rwd hatchback ( or somewhat close to a small hatchback) around £4000, which is reliable and fun to drive, and won't cost a lot for insurance.
Any ideas?
pls help

if i don't want a hatchback what are my options ?
thank you

I've seen 130i hatches for sale for under £4k.

And there's the C-class coupe (later renamed CLC).

Otherwise, I think you'll be looking at much older stuff.

Mazda 323 - I had a T reg 323 hatch it was rear wheel drive.

That's a 1979 T reg not a 1999 T.

Bmw 325 ti is the correct answer (find one with sports seats in manual form).

Why the hatchback requirement? Get an MX-5 or something. Lots of rwd cars that are cheap to insure

Well if we're going back that far, there's always the Vauxhall Chevette, Chrysler/Talbot Sunbeam and Volvo 340, but not sure that's what the OP was after!

Don't go spamming the forums to get your post count up for access to the Lounge, the Mods won't appreciate it.
