Will give them a call tomorrow. Only about 25 mins from where I live. Could be just what i'm after.

Did originally think it was too cheap. However, it's all about the condition.

Old accords seem to be unloved for no obvious reason. Great engines, average to good tinworm resistance, decent electrics, tidy chassis. Check out the normal stuff and hard to go wrong, really wink

Cheers, will do.

If it's ok, it'll be great for what I want at the moment.

Gave the seller a call. He is a chap who does car trading on the side (full time accountant now, apparently). The car will be available to view at his house, I think.

He told me the car was owned by an Indian doctor who was working in the uk for a few years. He has now left the country, so doesn't need the car.

Has a folder full of bills and recently was MOT'd. Seller said it drives brilliantly.

Only thing is I can't get to see it until Saturday. Could possibly do tomorrow night, but it will be late and dark. Oh well, if it's still there then I'll head over for a test drive.

I'm viewing it tomorrow evening.

Yes, it will be dark, but it's just over £500 and it's the only time I can get there before the weekend. If it's good, I want to be picking it up on Saturday.

I have a very bright Cree bike light so I'll take that. smile

Have you got a mate good at teeth sucking?

I'd suggest taking £450 in a roll and finding a reason to only offer that much (low tread on tyres? Rusty suspension? (one local to me has been failing/advisories on front subframe mounts)), then having 3 more lots of £50 in other pockets to add if necessary.

Or, go with my usual tactics "it's fine, here's all the money you wanted, take it, take it all!" wink

E39's that aren't Alpina models or the M5 won't appreciate that much, I struggled to sell my 530i Sport with 120k for £1700. Certainly can't see many being over £3k in the next few years. Great cars yes, special? Nope.

I can do the teeth sucking. hehe

Viewing moved to Saturday now so I can see the thing in daylight.
