Growing up here meant that I need the money to afford the car and the ins+ petrol
Where are you located? Fancy giving me a passenger ride?

Keep an eye on the HSV & Monaro section, we regularly have meets that you could come along to and maybe get a ride along. I am based in Reading.
Have a read of this about my journey to HSV Ownership https://www.drivetribe.com/p/AMh8XDvESvWtSxvZtKSUs...
Thanks everyone for your replies.
I do love the sound of the AMC Javelin - in fact, any V8 US muscle car would be cool, but, they all tend to be very large and not very fast. Superb sound though.....
I really appreciate everyine's replies - if anyone has any further inspiration, please let me know.
The German V8s make a lot of sense in terms of practicality and power, but, have very little soul.
TVR Griffith is so right, but, eats so much petrol and would need it's own garage, as, I suspect it would spend a lot of time in there...
Thanks again everyone

Yep, definitely fast If you're considering a Caterham with something bigger than a 2-litre 4 this would hit the mark ime
You'll get the full soundtrack as well bearing in mind where you're sitting with regards to the V8
