Cost to Change ? "nahhhh mate we don't do that any more...."
Discussion
We find sometimes emails go missing through autotrader so if you haven't had a response then call or send another email.
We will reply to every email even if the car is sold. If someone emails and asks for us to call then that's what we do, personally I wouldn't call unless they ask, they have used email for a reason, be that time, working hours, hearing loss etc.
We don't tend to give out cost to change,we just say you car is worth x. If it's something we don't want we either offer it to the trade, tell them to go to we buy any car (we tend to get a quote first) or go in with a low offer and take a risk or just say no.

I almost never receive emails response.
I never, generally, mention the price and just have a few key questions if the advert is lacking detail(s).
Why? Quite simply, its quick, easy and I can keep a track of any conversation (after being lied to and ending up in a claims situation last time I used a main dealer).

That is the sort of e-mail that gives off the impression that you are properly interested though; asking questions about the car, service history, I'm surprised you don't get a response.I never, generally, mention the price and just have a few key questions if the advert is lacking detail(s).

The vast majority that we get are "what's your best price?" "last price for cash?" "how much for my 52 plate Astra?" etc, I will always respond, however it is to invite them to contact me to discuss further, they never do.
