I would be wondering why it was still for sale if it is as good as OP says it is.

I`m guessing the market for that kind of car is pretty small. Those who can afford the day to day running costs will probably be looking at a lease?

Ah didn't notice, to be honest for that type of car I doubt the extra hp makes much difference.
Between a CL500 E500 and SL55 and CLS55 they were all fast cars - depends on your age I guess.

Hi, it's my car that's being discussed - sorry for the zero post count, I'm a reader not a writer!

Thought I'd give a bit of info about why it's still for sale. I haven't had one viewing! There are currently 81 people watching it on eBay and I've had two offers unseen of £7k and £7.5k which I think is on the low side. I've never had such difficulty is selling a car before. Maybe it's the time of year?

The car is as good as it looks in the pictures (I'm undecided with the wheels to be honest but the originals do come with it.)

Two guys 'might' come at the weekend so fingers crossed.

Steve

Thanks for the kind words - it really is that nice. If I had garage space (996 C4S and a 72k mile 2 owner E34 M5 already taking up the room) it wouldn't be going anywhere!

As well as being more expensive, it's also less powerful & torquey, noticeably slower through the gears thanks to the 5 speed box, and has done significantly more miles.

This - if I hadn't already found mine, yours would have been sold to me.
Have patience - there's only 50 or so in the UK and it's the only one for sale in the country - with spring not far away, its price should be going back up again very soon... smile

Slightly off topic, but uniroyals on a near 400 bhp car? Maybe just me, but that would make me question what else might have been 'budget' replacements. Looks lovely otherwise though!
I'd class Uniroyal RS3 as a decent tyre!

That looks like a nice one with good history you won't regret it & releasing 480bhp with the noise never gets boring.

Whilst retaining sale price that car has cost 25% of its sale price in the last 2 years - all relative as all cars cost to run however all none scheduled bills are £££
