Mine has been very reliable & has only cost me an alternator so far, the thing with this one is that it seems whoever owned this has decided to go through the car & take care of any issues which were present. From your point of view you have a comprehensive list of work carried out which should give you peace of mind.

My only grip so far is it has a broken spring and it was being replaced - I have never heard of one spring being replaced before, I thought good practice was always in pairs.

You'd be surprised how common this practice is main dealers do it all the time, I have a bodyshop & insurance companies will only pay for the side that is damaged which makes no sense to me (I tell the people in the office to speak to the customers & see if they'd like to have the other side refreshed at the same time) but it's how it is Warranty companies are the same.

Who sold it? The one you were buying or the one the OP was looking at.

Hi, it's my car that's being discussed - sorry for the zero post count, I'm a reader not a writer!

Thought I'd give a bit of info about why it's still for sale. I haven't had one viewing! There are currently 81 people watching it on eBay and I've had two offers unseen of £7k and £7.5k which I think is on the low side. I've never had such difficulty is selling a car before. Maybe it's the time of year?

The car is as good as it looks in the pictures (I'm undecided with the wheels to be honest but the originals do come with it.)

Two guys 'might' come at the weekend so fingers crossed.

Steve
Hi Steve did you sell the car?

If not message DS Liverpool

I sold it at the weekend. The look on the guy's face when I opened her up on the test drive - grinning from ear to ear! He hadn't even considered one and only stumbled across it on eBay. He was a very happy chappie indeed.

In a word, no. But it had to go as I hadn't driven it properly in the last 4 months and leaving it on a side street opposite my house wasn't doing it any good.

But hey I had a damn good summer with her!
