Ex -funeral cars, best buy barges?
Discussion
First, check that the body is original then run it for three days, the Trinity, give it a short service, secular or religious as long as you use fully synthetic, then put some super plus in before going on a motorway ( fog permitting). Then fire it up, bury the throttle, and it will go like hell. Years ago I rode in a splendid Jaguar Mk.9 hearse ( but not as corpse). Once we left the boundary of - incidentally- Blackpool it gave an entirely new meaning to The Quick and the Dead. Just to be a bit less serious, funeral limos are often based on excellent cars with lots of power, as Funeral Directors need leather, deep carpets and other bells and whistles. Also, cars are constantly valeted and experienced Directors jet wash underside/arches, too.

I spotted a 13 year old, 60000 mile Volvo s80 for sale locally for peanuts recently. Now that's less than 5000 miles a year, always kept clean and shiny and presumably well serviced. Seems like a good buy to me but will it be in better or worse condition than the average car given that most of these miles will be at sub 30mph speeds?
