Obviously a poll for UKIP voters only!

It would be interesting to see how much future the PH UKIP community thinks they actually have.

The question doesn't have enough choice for me. I wanted the UK to be free from EU control/integration, I wanted control of immigration and I especially didn't want third world muslims coming over here with their stone age beliefs.

I saw UKIP as a pressure group who did their job extremely well and changed the direction of this country. But I don't see much of a role for them now especially without Farage and the money from people like Banks.

^ Agreed. I hope they can help keep us on a hard brexit course. Not sure what their place will be after that.

If you can tell me how to condense that into about 6 words, I'll happily add it to the poll! smile

Aren't the 3rd world muslims part of the commonwealth?

How about "Were you just a bit simple?".

This would cover those people who think Muslim immigration is primarily from the EU.

I think people (stupid, racist people, obviously) wanted the UK out of the EU. Spineless Dave was forced into promising a referendum on it, and we voted. It isn't quite over yet, but UKIPs main raison d'etre is gone.

It's just a shame Farage didn't make MP.

Not enough options but as I said to my local Tory councillor I joined UKIP because I was a Tory that the Tory party had abandoned.
I really don't like the EU and everything it represents

The option missing for me would be that I agreed with more of their policies and stated objectives than other parties - that would include the referendum but also other things like grammar schools, changing foreign aid, closer links to commonwealth etc. Many of these are now Tory policy under May so the Conservatives are more attractive to me now.

Another lessor factor is the appeal of voting UKIP because they aren't one of the other parties. Not my reason but when the others have a track record of broken promises so a protest vote that may influence the other parties policies.

I think before the next GE we will have one or possibly two new parties representing the slightly left of centre and the zone right of the Conservatives, bankrolled by those who feel Labour/Libs and UKIP are too toxic to save.

9% so far. Seems low.

Talking of low - "low grader" should be an option

The UK already has 100% control of migration from non-EU countries.

Which particular EU countries were you thinking of with that?

A good future if they are the sensible side of centre right politics !!! , we still have the climate scam to deal with
and public sector waste ,red tape and many other issues, with crony capitalists funding the torys and the unions labour , UKIP could represent all the rest of us who for years held our noses and voted Con ,
we would still be shacked to the EU and the I'm all right Jack fk the proles people wouldn't have had a usefull bang on their ivory towers without UKIP
the tory party is almost fit for purpose thanks to UKIP .......
Good old Nigel thank you sir ......

I think you will find he understands the situation with immigration from the EU, but that he would like a government that takes a harder line on immigration in general.

We have control over who enters, yet we exersize that very weakly.

I don't vote Ukip but you two fkwits and your superiority complexes almost make me want to out of spite for you and the rest of your kind.

Your ilk and its self righteousness is why we have Brexit (and across the sea for similar reasons Trump) people are reacting against the left and its inabilities to actually solve any of the problems it says it will. In fact the law of unintended consequences comes into play and you have actually created more problems, (mass immigration, debt and terrible PFI deals) all so you can feel "right on" and be seen to care.

Its ok though, because the left has very little power now so it can blame those in charge now and ignore the st show that was their last spell in power. In fact you lot seem to think the problems created in the Blair/Brown years can now be laid at the feet of the present lot.

You are the problem you silly little people. You are wrong, your ideology is wrong and you cant see it. Problem is now we have swung too far the other way which is as bad and it is your fault.

So, in case you are hard of thinking (previously proven, see posting history) Ukip is a protest vote, a protest against all the bks your lot has foisted upon the electorate.

I think you demonstrate well who may be the problem.

I'm frustrated with the torys, the elite, the bankers influence, austerity, labour are a shambles, etc. - there are a host of problems in the mainstream and they are struggling to keep in touch.

The answer is not in my opinion to vote for a bunch of bigoted racist incompetent liars just because you are frustrated with the mainstream however.

It is the protest vote of the stupid. Stop blaming other people for these votes - they placed them!

And you have reading comprehension problems...

ETA: and think a crafty edit when you have spotted the problem will do to hide the mistake. Sorry, I was too quick.
