why is audi 2.0 tdi quattro technik se cheaper than s line?

i noticed on autotrader and a few used car websites pricing the technik cheaper than the s lines .... and just wondering y?

S line a higher spec?

Less desirable as is company car spec (gets tech pack which includes nav and front sensors) but has no xenons and comes with flat SE seats.

S line (unless specced with tech pack) has no nav but does have xenons, sporty bumpers and the better sports seats

Because everyone wants the s line, nobody wants the SE.
