Appreciate the responses chaps. While the alternatives proposed seem fun I've just put a deposit on the Lexus. By far the better car after seeing both. The Lexus to my untrained eye seemed excellent, the Audi on the other hand failed to start, smoked like something was on fire, and was being sold by a dealer happy to tell me it was going in for a recall when really it needed extensive repairs
