Found that one. https://lease4less.co.uk/car-leasing/jeep/compass/...
They pull deals on existing stock as soon as the offers are gone it seems.

Hello guys, I want to lease a pickup track which is on a very good deal. I assume I would need van insurance for the vehicle. Do the van insurance companies allow for non-commercial use? Can I use my no claim bonus built up on car insurance to reduce cost?

Yes, yes and yes. The only thing to watch for is that if you want 'business' mileage equivalent (I.e. so you can use it for work to travel about between sites etc) you might need to go for 'carriage of own goods'. Some companies won't do business mileage on a truck, I found.

I FTK-ed (are we still doing that; I come back to this thread every couple of years..?) on one just in time then. I’ve test driven a Tonale with that PHEV power plant and while I wasn’t willing to part with Tonale money, £4k for a year lease of this (I went for a colour that pushed price up a little bit) seems pretty good.

Still hoping for the return of the glory days (I fondly remember my Golf R estate picked up from this thread in 2016). Deals like this show it may be going back in that direction. But as ever you’ve got to jump on the deal…

There will be more soon. Inspired by the Second Hand Price Crash thread I just took a look at discounts on new electric Vauxhalls. £10k off a brand new electric Astra and it's still £33k!

You can almost hear the fax machine being fired up to brief the lease brokers.

Not looking for an EV personally but just saw this on leaseloco if it's any use to anyone - struck me as cheaper than I expect, but don't shoot me down if it's not!

Personal lease:
1.5 years
5,000 miles a year
1+18
£361.09

Monthly goes up if you increase the term from 18 months.

The Lexus RZ business deals are tempting on a 2yr contract at £259p/m on leaseloco. The range is supposed to be terrible but it’s rare I do any journey over 100 miles these days.

Lease is up in 4 weeks and tempted by this to tide me over for a year.

Jeep Compass - 240bhp hybrid, 12 months, nothing down, £325/month. £45k list so I make that 8.7% for a 1 year lease.

My experience is that it varies as you might guess as it depends on circumstances.
For me, there was a direct correlation between price of car and price of insurance.
No surprise here.
Best thing to do is to look for a quote on a price comparison site.

As for tusker, do shop around. I am with them and other than the EQB 350, I haven't found anything worth shopping there.
Bear in mind as well that the monthly price increase every year about a few %.
Thanks, will do.

Agreed, with the exception of the Brabus Smart #1 that I've seen appear but I've nothing to compare against other than inflated personal lease deals. But even then, taking into account the £250 a month I've got the 128ti for, doesn't really make sense unless I say insurance is £100 a month and then add man maths.

Did you get your EQB via the portal and checking regularly? Or are you saying the current deal is worth exploring further?
I'm in a very similar situation. Currently in a BMW 135i xdrive that goes back in July (£306 p/month). Can't find anything to lease privately, i've looked at buying second hand but in both scenarios face rapidly increasing insurance costs. Also with Tusker (which makes things feel easy with insurance, maint, etc all in one) but not seeing anything come up that makes me want to pull the trigger.

would be interested to know what you decided to do + if you found a better forum for this topic?

Just done a deal on a Honda ENY1 elegance in red metallic. 250 down then 238 a month over 3 years. I know it's a PCP but will treat as a lease and just hand it back. I know the earlier deals were a bit better but still think it's a bargain as it includes servicing. Warrington Honda if anyone is interested think they got one left.

I ho-hummed on that one. It has a higher P11D than the EC4X but doesn't has a heat pump, a smallish boot or a panoramic roof.

I might be missing something, but £250 down and only £238 a month? Almost giving it away.

Guess they were giving them away then!

...shame not seeing those numbers on non-EVs.
