I’ve got a 24 hour test drive of a Lexus RZ tomorrow as I too am seriously considering one. Will provide my feedback on Monday….
Keen to hear if they have this elusive update to help the range a little.Pro's of the car, nice interior with the Premium model having the Faux leather. All touch points very nice, although the rear armrest not having the cupholders covered or any storage space within it was a bit of a surprise. My brother has a 2022 Lexus RX450H and it definitely feels of a higher quality due to real leather on the seats etc.
The drive of the RZ is great, very quiet and smooth with progressive braking. The fact that you can adjust the re-gen braking with steering wheel paddles is great. Ride quality is great, very supple and controlled with very little body roll. The acceleration off the line is impressive, It doesn't snap your head back, although some tests put the 0-60MPH as only 4.8 seconds. The interior is very spacious especially in the rear and it has a 500+ cubic foot boot as well as load space under the boot floor for the charging cables etc. Interior storage is good although it is strange not having a glovebox on the car due to the radiant heaters in the Premium+ models up, for driver and front seat passenger in the under dashboard area.
The amount of safety kit on board is impressive, although there are constant sound alerts for speed, distance to car in front and other collision avoidance measures. You can mute some of these via the infotainment system, but as it was a demonstrator model I thought it best to leave them all on. The infotainment system is excellent, very clear, intuitive, and it is good having physical controls for the cabin temperature and volume controls.
I drove it in both urban and motorway settings and I averaged 2.9 KWH. This gives it an indicated range of around 207 miles in my estimation, and having covered around 80 miles in the 24 hours I had it, I don't think the range would cause me any anxiety and is the only downside in my opinion.
The cabin ambience at night is good with some great lighting features on the doors etc.
I personally think the Premium model is nothing special due to the black plastic wheel arch extensions and other exterior trim. The Premium+ and Takumi models are worth the extra money in my opinion.
I know the lease deals seem attractive, but I can get a Takumi Bi-Tone model with protection pack (£355), illuminated door sills (£345), and home charger (£1310) via a salary sacrifice on a 2 year, 10K Miles per annum for £831.00 gross, or £520.00 net, which includes insurance, maintenance, tyres etc.
It is the most value for money that I can see on my firms salary sacrifice scheme (via LeasePlan) and all things considered I'm probably going to place an order after the Easter break.

Quick question applying a lease why do different finance companies use different approval criteria. Trying to lease a car only 266 pcm 1+24 deal and got declined with excellent credit score and have leased on the past, do they want people to pay more upfront to approve?
That’s a really interesting question. I’ve mainly had cars via VWFS and my credit score is good but not excellent. I have put down a mix of 1 to 9 months and never had an issue. Only other make is Hyundai which I did on a 1 months down and again no issue and was with Hyundai. I’ve been leasing VWs for around 10 years now.Thinking about it I did get turned down for the Merc EQC before Xmas as is was not with Mercedes finance. So potentially it’s where finance is via a third party.
I’m sure they’ll be people on here who will have better insight into the industry

First post here!
Keen to thank you all for your inputs and sharing of deals ??
Hoping this post helps someone.
I've just secured one of the Jeep Compass deals:
£294pm | 1+11 | blue Shade | 8k miles | (10ppm for excess mileage) | No charge cable
As of 11:30 there were 2 left:
£309.60pm | 1+11 | blue or black | 8k miles | 10ppm for excess mileage.
The extra cost is for the charge cable which I believe comes with these cars a package.
My understanding is that they have to be registered by the end of the day, so be swift.
Speak to Nick or Oli at the Read Motor group in Derby.
Out of interest. Did you approach them with the deals linked off here and see if they'd match? Keen to thank you all for your inputs and sharing of deals ??

As someone who is now looking for a lease, curious whether people just buy from the links. Or print off a deal and try their luck in the local dealers?
I Managed to secure the Trailhawk spec last night at £330pm 1+11months 10k miles Red which is the base/free colour.

I called around a few dealers, mentioning that I had seen a deal on leasing.com and asked if they would match it. Found this was the best offer as it included a choice of colour whereas the majority of places (that I checked) all had red as the only option around £300 pm and then an additional £50-£60pm for any other colour. As someone who is now looking for a lease, curious whether people just buy from the links. That sounds good. Business or Personal? Any link or contact details?I Managed to secure the Trailhawk spec last night at £330pm 1+11months 10k miles Red which is the base/free colour.
It’s a PCH.
If you want a point of contact Kevin at D Salmon Cars Colchester Jeep dealership has been outstanding, I rarely have such an honest experience with dealers as they don’t like how I’m straight to the point but this guy has been brilliant.
PS: if you ring up please say Artur has recommended him, I said I would and like to make good on my words.

I’ve also picked up my white A4 Avant 40 TFSI Tech Pack from Slough Audi, (Sytner Affinity) cracking car, thanks to whoever posted it!
Ace! just a heads up, automatic folding mirrors when locking is off by default, you need to go into the settings and enable it.also the rear led lights will do the animation thing only at night when you lock the car, the front ones do it day and night.
i was relieved to find that it didnt have keyless entry, ones less thing to worry about with al the thefts going around

I know you’ve not had it long but what’s your first impressions of the A4?
I have one coming soon.
So far, really nice! its my first Audi and very impessed, I watched so many videos of the car that its like I already knew the interior inside and out lol, I have one coming soon.
Drive is smooth, sterring wheel is good quality, interior lighting at night is very nice
it also looks great, but cant help but feel the black edition would look nicer in the flesh
Just working out how to use the MMI and Audi app next.
Tech pack has some decent toys, the matrix lights are great but dount id ever use the auto parking assist feature.
