Smallish ULEZ compatible car needed
Discussion
We need a new car in our household mostly for the OH. Criteria:
- Will mostly be used for < 3 mile local journeys to the supermarket, train station drop offs etc and 1 monthly 50 mile round trip
- Has to be ULEZ compatible as we live within zone 3
- Manual
- Petrol
- Ideally has air con and parking sensors
- 5 door
- budget max £4k
Newest/cleanest Yaris you can get for that money would do you well.
Corsa is a bit dull but plenty out and reasonably reliable/ cheap to fix when it goes wrong
I'd avoid the ecoboost fiestas in that sort of price range.
in fairness i think a small N/A hatch will run for a fair few years and be cheap to run.
could also go bigger to Honda Civic, Auris, Focus etc

Can you get a newer shape Hyundai i10 for that money?
Something like this although no parking sensors
