Look above the rear seats and you'll see a belt. I believe it's for certain types of children's car seats.
It's for anyone to sit in the rear seat. One end clicks into there to make it a normal three point belt. But can be removed to store in the ceiling out of the way.Though it probably won't be used for anyone but children. The load limit of the car is very low and with four adults it could be used up/

Our current VW Group car doesn't do it - I quite miss it, after getting used to it on the last few cars we've had between us.
Generally only comes when you have memory / electric seats on VAG cars - my ID4 has it, previous Audi A6 had it and both had leccy seatsGot a call from North Way Honda earlier. Finance docs inbound. I found then in the junk folder (of course ), I've digitally signed them.
Collection option was Thu or Fri, and just to be safe, I went for Fri. I didn't want a call tomorrow to say it wouldn't be ready, I needed to buy tickets to get to 'the smoke.' Flixbus from Brum for £11.27, done. At short notice, that is cheap!
I have the reg no but the documents say date of reg is 28th so I presume DVLA won't show it until then, so can't arrange any insurance, yet. I still don't trust dealers as far as I can chuck 'em, I have a sneaking suspicion they've used all my £500 deposit and not just the £200 ish... The agreement is for 36 payments in total, not 37, but the 'agreement' is over 37 months.
First payment is in a months' time so I presume that is what is meant, not had a PCP before, can you tell? £150 charge for no MoT certificate so I think I can't avoid that in 2027.

You can arrange insurance - even on the 28th it’ll likely not appear in a reg lookup, just give them the make and model manually. But as with others I presume, I want to do it 'online' for nowt. If I have to speak to a human, there'll be an admin fee.
I have a policy on a car I'm selling that only has 4 weeks to run so it wouldn't be too prohibitive to switch cover, and buy fresh policy later. I could always use cuvva to get it home, estimate cost is £15 ish for 6 hours. But with a £900 excess. Strangely enough, my Fiat Panda is £13 for 6 hrs, but the xs is only £300.

Mine arrived at the dealer yesterday pm, I have just insured it for pickup tomorrow (couldn't get down there this afternoon), it appeared on reg lookup with Admiral and NFU but not Hastings Direct. That's a swift PDI isn't it? I was told to allow 2 days, I've given them 3, best it's charged. It's not showing on the DVLA's own database yet, but since it has to be registered in my name and I've only signed the documents this afternoon, I expect it'll be tomorrow at least.
ETA: Just did a dry run with my insurer and I can't ament the policy online anyway because renewal is within 30 days. If there's an admin fee, I may as well leave it and insure it with Cuvva just to get it home. Incidentally, renewal on the Panda is up by 55% to £276. So the e:Ny1 quote at £600 don't seem so bad now!

Mine is being registered on the 28th, was able to swap the insurance with my current provider, aviva, on line worked fine I have a policy on a car I'm selling that only has 4 weeks to run so it wouldn't be too prohibitive to switch cover, and buy fresh policy later. Is it on the DVLA enquiry?https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/?_ga=2.10466...
I suppose there's a possibility that the public database I linked above is slow to update, and the insurance companies have access to a 'live' or dynamic one?

No, when it couldn’t find in reg lookup, I just selected make, model and spec from a listings
One of my policies is within 30 days of renewal, change online not possible, so I will be calling them up for a quote tomorrow (thankfully, I've discovered they have no admin fees even if you use an old fashioned telephone ).I can get a quote for a new policy using make and spec, but the other policy on a different car has months to go and the online system will quote with a valid registration number only.
ETA: Just ran a check on a car with the last letter M instead on N maybe expecting / hoping to see a Honda, it's a Mercedes A class, date it was registered? 27/03/24.
Mine is still 'no results found' so fully expect it will be visible tomorrow when the DVLA mouse wheel has cranked over the database overnight (finance docs say first reg date is 28/03), my collection day. It could have been today (I asked for Friday just in case...), but I'm glad it's not now, hoping the stars will align to insure it easily tomorrow.
