Pedantic Question - but was that the £650 accurate and the true figure taken for yourself?
I had my deposit taken as “£650” but slightly more was taken instead.
Again, although I made progress by paying deposit and getting a welcome document (which doesn’t have anything therein) - I’ve not had an order form sent or anything to esign, despite it being confirmed verbally0
My order form states £650 but nothing has come off my card yet.I had my deposit taken as “£650” but slightly more was taken instead.

Anyone can pls answer below questions as this is my first pcp deal
Got the documents
1. It is called hire purchase. Is it diferent form of pcp?
2. Can't find the option to return the car? May be not spotted yet as it is pretty big document.
Thanks
The last PCP I had (from BMW) the paper work said 'Hire Purchase Agreement regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974' in the header.Got the documents

There should be a section somewhere with regards an 'Optional Final Payment' with a bit of description. My BMW pcp contract read the following:
The First Repayment is payable 1 month after the start date of this agreement.
The subsequent monthly Repayments are payable on the same date in each
consecutive month starting 1 month after the First Repayment.
The Optional Final Repayment includes the Option to Purchase Fee, if any,
and is payable 1 month after the last monthly Repayment. If you decide not
to purchase the Vehicle at the end of this agreement, the Option to Purchase
Fee, if any, and the Optional Final Repayment will not be payable.
There should also be a large section in the terms and conditions that has a section titled 'Your Options at the end of this Agreement'.
I suggest you thread through the entire document line by line before signing anything.
I got a Black Advance for £250 with no deposit, I had to pay £500 to secure the car but get that back (unless I use it to reduce the payment). Around two weeks until I pick it up.
The Elegance was £179 with no deposit originally but that seems to have changed to around £195, plus around £30 for paint, there doesn't seem to be any black available now. I read today that there were 700 cars available on Monday morning and only 300 last night. What are the dealers going to do when 700 of these are all returned March 2026

That the thing, the word optional is missing from the repayment schedule and there is no marker which says this is pcp deal. There should be a section somewhere with regards an 'Optional Final Payment' with a bit of description. My BMW pcp contract read the following:

Bit of luck this morning.
One of the dealers rang me up and said they had a cancelled order in black if I wanted it. £179 deposit and £182 a month. I wasn’t going to argue the £3 a month with black being sold out everywhere else.
Bit annoying as current lease doesn’t end till May/June. Enquired about handing back early but this is too cheap to pass by so if I end up with two cars for a couple of months then so be it.

Cancel the above regarding slightly more being taken - the figure amended itself and is 100% the £650 deposit for the metallic paint.I had my deposit taken as “£650” but slightly more was taken instead.

Did your finance document come straight from Honda finance or Brindley.
My email was mistyped, I now have the order but concerned the finance company have my email wrong.
Do you have any contact details please?

I am still waiting for the above queries to be clarified.. A bit worrying..
I’ve finally decided to go for it and put an order in this morning.
The standard £229 in metallic red.
Took one for a test drive. Feels a bit odd as my first go in an electric. Breaks didn’t feel too sharp so i would go steady!
As a gentle commute to work and lug the family round motor, it looks a great deal.

I enquired about bike carriers and got these prices:
£435 08L14-E09-C00U Thule Bicycle Carrier – Coach
£605 08L14-E09-E00U Thule Bicycle Carrier – Easyfold
£1000 08L92-31A-B13P detachable bicycle carrier attachment kit
The options themselves are listed here: https://www.honda.co.uk/cars/new/e-ny1-electric-su...
It's unclear what that third option even is, and if the top two options include fitting?
