Does anyone have any info on the cheapest public charging schemes? I already have a discount with BP, as I am an Admiral customer.

Thanks

I wasn't aware you got a discount with BP as an Admiral customer? I have a multicar policy with them. Where can I find this info?

Not driven the car much, some observations.

There is no way of setting the charge timer on the app.

No surround cameras. The rear one is ok though.

I am testing the "non charging" timer tonight, when I want to start timing at midnight.

Still unsure about the handbrake, does it auto hold? I have set the handbrake to auto but it doesn't seem to come on.

My Octopus Electroverse card arrived today. Many (but not all) public charger are enrolled, plug in car, swipe card, walk away. Apparently. You get 5% off because it can be added to you home bill. And you don't have to have their gas either (although I do)

Got a txt this morning to digitally sign the Confirmation of Registration Details to get the V5c. It has the registration date as the 25th March, and it's STILL not showing on DVLA. frown

It does if you set it but it won’t release automatically unless you have your seatbelt on. No rapid drive offs wink

Can’t you set it on the charger app itself? That’s what I have to do with my Merc.

Collected today, I'm actually quite impressed.

Goes well in sport mode, comfortable to motorway cruise.

Speed warning is absolute aids though

Finally joined the club on an official basis today. Effortless drive home (156 miles) - very happy so far.

Just come back from our first long trip.

Don’t mind working with the beeps and bongs now, the over speed one isn’t that intrusive. the LKA/steering assist is a pain if you leave it on over roundabouts etc, but just have to remember to turn it off when leaving a motorway. Active cruise could brake a bit earlier when catching up to slow traffic- I got a telling off for that (“it wasn’t me” didn’t wash)

3.1mi/kWh on a longer cross country jaunt, no motorway, heating on. Not stellar but we’ll work with it.

Having to use paddles to increase regen in advance of hills/corners is unlike any other ev, and I wonder why Honda went that way. It’s not unworkable, just a bit weird.

Central console, nav, wireless CarPlay all work well. No complaints there.

Overall, great family car. Just wish it had roof rails

Can't you just leave it in a higher level of regen?

It seems to return to low regen after a time, unless it’s in sport mode, not entirely sure what sport/normal/econ do

Picked mine up today. Only 51% charge. rolleyes Everything was turned right up, testing it no doubt. Had 15 miles on it. I left it connected at the dealer in Chiswick for an hour but it was slow rate. I see now why they were struggling to cope with demand, it's primarily a Honda bike dealer with the cars taking up about a quarter of the floor space.

Managed 3.5 m/ kWh on the way home, but the dreadful traffic helped that on the M40, air con off. I picked a bad day, thinking it would be better today than yesterday. A normally 3 hr journey was nearly 5. Had to do a 10 min top up at the services at 79p / kWh frown, cost £7. Got home with 16% so could probably have made do with a fiver.

I like it. smile Only a very faint whine from the motor. Seat is a little hard but will likely give a bit. Fast enough, and the initial subdued power on pull away mentioned in reviews reduces wheelspin in the wet. Plenty of headroom and legroom for a 188cm bloke (6ft 2 in old money). I like the little orange LED in the door mirrors if there's a car in my blind spot, or even nearby. The dynamic cruise is a bit annoying, I turned it off after a while. I don't have DAB, not sure if its a subscription, FM will do me. Had a head-scratch that you have to set non-charging period and have the schedule on or off, but I 'think' I've set it to charge from 00:30 to 04:30 on Octopus Go.

Congrats! Start 04.30, End 00.30 works for me

DAB should be there, you might need to enable it in the ‘App List’ for it to be visible on the menu

Yes, that's what I sussed in the end. Will check out DAB tomorrow. I found the menus mostly intuitive, I even found the PIN in messages for connecting My Honda+ easy enough too. smile

In dab you have to press ensemble list, then pick which list of stations you want. I picked Manchester ones and it populated

If you press the cruise control button several times it adjusts the distance of the adaptive cruise. Lifesaver.

Anyone else finding the range a little disappointing?

I'm getting 1.7-2.6kwh regardless of road type or driving style. I'm using the regen on setting three and coasting to stop rather than using the break.

Any suggestions?

Not for me. The range is fairly accurate and I'm averaging between 3 - 3.5miles per Kwh.
