How much are you looking to spend?
As much as I need . I’d like to spend less than 10k but could go up to about 50k, I’d rather not ??
You can get a nice 7 Series BMW in that price range.

Or the British version - an Aston Rapide?

I am trying not to get another Range Rover, it would leave me still wanting a car that I can carry my children in and enjoy driving spiritually. Is would tick many boxes the 110 covers - I did take my RR off road, camping etc but it’s not as adventurous as a defender. Maybe the RR is the best car ever, as a single car. Cars are not good at compromising and that’s why I had 10; the best for each use and worst for other uses.

I am looking at 6 series cars at the moment. Leather dash (don’t want to put to much on this definitively but luxurious possibley) would set us all, easy for long journey, would do a tf loop…. Not quite as luxurious at a RR or Bentley though….

Maybe I am just trying to get too much from a single car and I should get an xkr and a tdv8 rr.

Well they don't exactly have much in common.

Maybe get both, or decide what you really want!
