Thanks for the replies. I know its only a car and that's fine but the lies they have said are terrible for a main dealer for which you pay a premium for.

To clarify, I'm not upset that I had to pay for the service I'm OK with that, but it was the fact it says it was done and was not. The K and N filters are good but as approved uses they should not have been in this car and picked up on pre sale inspection. I've looked at them today and they are badly clogged up. The plugs have got corrosion on them also ams are the cars originals. Mileage currently over 60K with 5 year service intervals for them.

Something i have connected the dots with now is the reason for 3 week delay of the collection of the car. Salesman said it was due to warranty work to make the car problem free before collection. I thought that was very diligent. He said it was a repair on the keyless go. No paperwork for this was given to Mr.

On asking another dealer to check online there was no record of any warranty work done after 2022. I suspect the car was damaged as it was taking to a different dealer in the same group where a bodyshop is located. I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist as well. I can't prove this but I smell BS. The fact I had paid for the car and signed the log book before this happened passes me off they did not tell me. They could've just told me.

Oh the salesman has been full of lies even now. An accessory that should have been with the car was missing at collection. I emailed him and he said he would put it aside until I came by. Then he said he was sourcing it and its on back order and he is still trying to get it. And he's said that for 9 months only messaging when replying to my enquiry. When I asked today he said he hadn't forgotten but still on back order. I called the dealers parts dept and they have it on stock for immediate delivery! You couldn't make this stuff up.

Anyhow, I will address all these concerns to the dealership manager and let you know how I go.

Thanks again ppl.

My view on things like this. Life is too short to stress yourself like you are, the time and energy needed to pursue it is best spent doing other things.

Suck it up, service the car, it’ll be ok. Move on.

It’s already consuming your time posting a thread to garner opinions.
