Manual you’ll struggle.

When I was looking for similar, ended up b7 RS4. The rivals (c63, is-f) were autos. Suspect anything newer would also be an auto.

RS4 was a cracking car though. If you want manual, suggest you try one.

If you’re open to flappy padal, the merc has it beat on noise and grunt imo.

Left field suggestion? The Bentley. If you can find one that’s not been chavved / neglected, it’s a hell of a gt!

Never driven one but always thought the Jaguar Xfr-s was a great looking car even if supercharged.

I have already tried the 4.2 Audi, it revs up!!!. but, I did not feel any type of acceleration (strong push in the seat), surely there is little torque for the weight

Mercedes w204 C63 AMG edition 507 in estate form.

Benefits from having the uprated SLS engine and newer MCT gearbox.

Keep the mileage sensible and you shouldn't ever really lose money on it as they're rare and very much sought after.

Alternatively you could find one with the performance pack plus (PPP) upgrades too for a lower price.

There was also another special edition from Mercedes Brooklands called the DR520 but I don't think they were proper mercedes official editions and even rarer.

to remember yes. the m156 6.2 in version 204, 211 and 212.

Really big difference in torque compared to the Audi RS4 and the M3 E92. logically much more strong shove felt in the seat I think.

The 4.7 V8 is naturally aspirated and has the brilliant ZF box - the best combo. Sounds sensational too. Don't take my word for it....

is magnificent, sounds sublime. Is there such a feeling of being pressed into the seat as I am looking for? otherwise you might as well go for the 63. I'm looking for a good feeling of acceleration

OP you never mentioned the age of the car, to which would you consider a BMW M5 E39? Should be able to get a good one for £30k.
Also a Ford Mustang should fit the bill. Take a look in the classified section. You can tailor your search by engine spec and transmission.

between approximately 1990 and 2010
how is the acceleration of the m5 e39? I have heard some people say that you barely feel it. That the car doesn't feel "very fast" doesn't bother me, they are NA, they don't feel that fast, but I still want to have a noticeable "shove" on acceleration.

otherwise I was told that the M273 5.5 in E500 Coupe or CLK500 form was excellent. torque noise, etc.
