Well, the advanced party is back from 2 glorious days at Spa and I can confirm the track is in fine fettle. Only aberration to report is quite a bump in the middle of the track 200m down from La Source. If you keep to the right after the blend line you'll not notice a thing, but if you happen to be overtaking the Luffwaffe at this point just beware; at full chat your rear wheels will leave the black stuff.

Getting packed up now to leave Aberdeen this evening and stopping somewhere around the boarder, will be at track v road tomorrow evening. All day Friday I'm free so if there's any of you Essex lads not working and needing a hand with cars or anything let me know.
Don't check the weather forecast For the weekend if you don't want to be upset.

Thanks for advice Rob, great photo of Waffe Culler The Waffe are gonna wonder what's hit em throughout this year especially with the addition of more Saturn 5 Noble's with Mad Max 'Interceptor' type pace...

First time I've been there that early; however temp-wise it was like summer, but unusual to see the trees without leaves. I do have to admit that there were some seriously tricked-up Waffe there running slicks which did embarrass me (GTS RS running 630bhp) as well as a couple of 4.0RSs; but seeing as I have a standard powered Noble with shagged rear Corsas I can't really complain. Just this minute fitted my new rear Trofeos. You guys can exact revenge!! Have a safe and enjoyable trip.

Looks like i will be missing the Essex night out on Thursday, Car had to be taken to VW today water pump sprung a leak and DSG oil filter housing split and leaking oil  Parts are in tomorrow but the front end has to come off to fit the water pump !! So looks like i will be travelling straight to Dover Friday morn and getting there about Dinner time, The bad luck continues for us all ! not the best start to the season, See You Friday, Shaun you can have my grub on Thurs night

There's been an ill wind blowing this land which has been causing some grief with these cars boys.
This hasn't been an easy pre season with various peoples problems and mechanical failures etc etc.
Neil, Im sure VW will get it sorted prompt and you'll make it in time for a typical Chelmo feast,
I've just finished running in the new engine and had the oil service so after just under 1200 miles in 4-5 days I'm ready to go !
Two weeks ago had no engine and warranty worries but all good now.
Chin up Neil, if it can't get done..... The cooper would be great fun going up against Granty in the Festa ST.
See you Friday for Tea Graham.
