Yeah, probably not a fair dig to be honest! lol its just intresting that it weighs the same but you would expect it to be lighter. be intresting to see where the tuning take these cars. Not really seen much going off with the V6s but im sure there will be simple upgrades to get more power out of them.
Quick search come up with this:

(sic) For the various Evora race project Lotus worked have with Cosworth to develop high power, naturally aspirated, variants of the 2GR-FE capable of competing in various motorsport catagories.

To do this the engine was enlarged to 4-litres and fitted with a dry sump oil system to ensure reliable operation even under the high sustained G-forces experienced on the race track.7 Power varies from around 350bhp for the Evora GT4 up to 470bhp for the Evora GTE which is set to compete under GT2 regulations.

So nearly 500 bhp normally aspirated!! I suspect that the cost for this will be akin to the Roush fettled Noble 600 + BHP engines i.e. Not cheap!
Strap on a smaller supercharger pulley "jobs a goodun" hehe

Yeah i saw some pics of the Cosworth V6s! they look pure race engine with MASSIVE intake plenums (must be throttle bodies under there) and some other very trick stuff! bit of googleing reveals you can get the 2GR-FE re-sleaved so it probably wouldn't be too hard to strech them to 4.0ltr. be intresting to see if anyone tries to compound boost or even just turbo one.
