New carpets to get rid of damp smell and is relatively cheap to do. You can always upgrade to something a bit plusher too. My carpets don't smell damp. Car smells of petrol too much to notice anyway! Cooling mod sounds like a nice plan though.....I resisted for a year. But tend to sweat a lot. Not sure if I mind about road noise enough. Isn't that part of the fun? My stereo is loud anyway if I need it.

Now drive in heavy rain/snow anything since I done the floor, don't really have a choice up here.

i drove mine rain shine snow, floods... was great fun as it was my everyday car.
my floor also leaks in the rear passenger side... after 4 years Im thinking I really should get it sorted, just couldn't be arsed lol

Andy, i like your thinking. F**k it, i cant be arsed to fix the floor. It's a very rare moment that mine gets wet....and it always dries out!!

I drove my first one as a main car for 3 years Rain, Snow, Shine, never took the sole off my face!
Why am I selling mine - probably be back in 6 weeks again...
