Well after three years of ownership and reading peoples post about their upgrades, I think the bug is starting to bite! So I contacted Pro Alloy about a possible group buy for their intercooler. They got back to me with the following prices: Noble M12 / M400 Intercooler Upgrade (Retail Price) = £695-00 Group Buy order Qty of 2 – 4 off kits = £625-50 Group Buy order Qty of 5 – 9 off kits = £556-00 Group Buy order Qty of 10 + kits = £521-25 We are happy to despatch each kit directly to each customers using our courier service UPS. Carriage charges are £15-00 per box for mainland UK (Excluding Scottish Highlands). All prices are excluding VAT. Having organised group buys before I think this is a pretty good offer by Pro Alloy and not one to be sniffed at. If we get enough interest we will have to set a closing date, so they can start manufacturing them. Marco PS. This is the only upgrade I will be doing!

Well I might as well ask before someone else does Can they extend the offer to the other Noble parts in their range?

Could be interested in the intercooler should we reach the ten mark. To anybody that has fitted one, is it a straight swap, or if not, what's the modifications? Thanks

Thanks I'd be surprised if you reach 10 but hopefully they'll use '10 items' i.e. anything ordered from the range. As far as the IC fitting, the worst part is cutting the original box with tin snips. It doesn't have to be done very well either as you reuse the rubber edging strip, it's a piece of cake.

You may as well consider the Pro-Alloy radiator and expansion tank (with sight glass) whilst at it I'm sure Lawrence will be looking for them soon enough.

Argh! I ordered the IC, shiny pipes and header tank last week. Think I got a decent deal though. If numbers are short of 10 Alex at PA might let you count mine as part of the group.

Not interested in radiator....unless mine breaks. IN for the group buy as long as we get 10. Spindoctor.....quick, cancel your order. Or tell them that you are number 1 of the 10 in the group buy. That would take us to 4/5 already.

Not sure I can cancel it now, but I'll give them a call.

This is only for the intercooler kit and not across the range. Think the idea is to have a batch made and keep production costs down which they then pass onto us. I have spoken to them about group buys for other parts and they will do them, but wanted to see how this pans out first.
For me the £35 difference between 5 units and 10 is not that big a jump. Where as £140 of the original price is!

Spindoctor any luck? Just spoken to Alex at PA. He's happy to include mine in the group buy, so am I assuming there's enough of us to at least match the deal I had. So count me in. Are you thinking of having a cut-off date? End of June maybe?

Are you thinking of having a cut-off date? End of June maybe? Good news. Time wise I'm ready to go, but will go along with whatever suits everybody. Though I would like to have it on my car by the 28th July for the dyno day. Just incase my map needs tweaking.

Happy to wait until we get to the 10 people....that's a 25% discount and as i am in rush, i'd rather pay less!
But if you want to set a deadline, i'm sure i'll agree to it.
