You could try getting them skimmed using a hub lathe. Fixed my vibrations and hasn't come back.

Yeah, that's my feeling. Thought I was warping the disks!! Was thinking it could be pads, and now will definitely give RS29s a go.

Thanks Simon it's good to see, my brake judder was so bad I really need to do something about it. It only does it when I get some heat into the discs, and I've tried two sets of discs without any improvement.
I bet if you get your discs skimmed on the car, you'll have no brake judder. I changed my front discs to groved from cross drilled and made no difference. Once skimmed they have been a dream. Now done about 8,000miles and still fine, it's not expensive, might be worth a go.

Thing is they are new grooved disks and they give me no judder until ive done a hot lap on track, but I trust what everyone's saying so ill get the discs skimmed on the car and fit the RS29 pads. My first noble was fine with standard discs and pads so I'm determined to get it sorted.

Jason, l only use the grooved disc with RS29 pads & have no brake issues so hopefully you can sort yours out easily.

I'll definitely get the RS29s fitted as they seem to come so highly recommended, may have to do a few hard laps round the local village to test them before the next trackday wink

I only got this after hard braking, the heat seemed to effect the hubs and discs giving me vibration. For the cost of it it's worth a go before going to any further costs on replacements discs etc

I've had a lot of problems with brake vibration on track. Was using ds2500 pads but just changed to the RS29's before silverstone, with grooved discs new about 6 months ago. My brake judder was worse on Saturday than its ever been! It really gives you no confidence!
As mentioned by others, it only happens on track when everything's hot, don't get any bother with normal road driving really. Will probably give the skimming a try.

I have had standard discs since I bought my car 2 years ago but quite early on fitted Carbotech XP8 pads on the front. They are epic. Had them on my Impreza and they were amazing on that too.
Never had any judder at all, but am currently changing discs as mine are cracked.

Got very expensive, custom shims made for the pads (in an attempt to stop low speed squealing - failed!) and use Ceratec paste on the pads too (also to reduce squeaking - still failed) but perhaps these helped with the heat reduction hence why mine never seemed to lose any retardation on track nor any judder.

Has resulted in cracked discs though. Switching to grooved up front. And better pads on standard discs at the back.

Just waiting for Matt to bed them in..... wink

Interesting you should say that as both sets of discs I've used ferrodo pads and had brake judder. I have thought about using the DS2500s to see if it makes a difference. After my last trackday I've fitted new discs, hubs, bearings, pads and spindles so was a bit gutted when I had the same issue as before.
Did you just do front hubs etc. I had vibration issues for ages which I assumed were from the front and appeared with the slightest of heat and eventually thanks to the Dave B tracked it down to rear hubs, replaced them and then skimmed discs on car - perfect since then

Like some others I had never experienced brake wobble even on track with the stock brakes and hubs etc, but in truth this weekend at silverstone was by far the hardest I have driven the car on track... However I had to change my brakes before the weekend as my original were shot... So I upgraded to the jetstream discs with a softer pad than Tuxman all round... Must say they are fantastic, feel great on road even from cold and were awsome on track.

I researched a lot before I upgraded and its my view the discs and bells expand at different amounts and cause the judder, floating discs we're the answer.
I'm very pleased with the jetstream kit

Why can't you just change the bobbins so that the disc can move more? the disc on my bikes rattled when they were cold. has anyone logged the bell temperature? I'm not convinced it gets that hot. most heat goes towards the outside of the disc, but obviously soaks inward when the car is stationary.

Temperatures on my rears are always higher than fronts, on a hot day rear alloys get so hot you can't touch them.

My vibration was also down to the rears, new hubs, wheel bearings, discs all round reduced it, then the Jetstream brake upgrade for good measure. It sometimes is there but I was taught how to brake properly on track and if I do it right I never get vibration.

I was driving like a fanny before, early braking and for long periods, dabbing in areas I only needed to lift off etc, now brake later and harder and trust the car more. Can do countless laps flat out and the rs29's do the job all day long. Managed to wear through a set in 5 months though!

As Graham say's brake late & hard !
Also agree fault can be with the rears rather than the fronts but you should be able to tell the difference if it's front or rear.
