Dear All,
This sounds great, well done. I'm a bit confused about it being sequential but also using the H gate. I notice it also uses the standard twin cables. Its not using this

is it?

Looks like the standard twin cable idea which allows...

the box can be installed and used with original linkage (just a stronger box)

Or fit the sequential changer and lever in the tunnel.

Or get the right ECU and you can add flat shifting/paddle shift too.

Is there any more news on this gearbox?

Hi Craig, I think it's fair to say that the jury is still out ! Hopefully they get it sorted.

Just thinking of alternative gearbox options and was wondering what people thought of the Peugeot 6 speed box which can be modified to take 550ftlb torque 600 bhp or the Porsche G50 box?
Any thoughts?

What Pug box can take 550lbsft? The G50 would need the engine spinning 90 degrees and a new rear chassis.

The 6speed diesel has been used with big block V8s supercharged and is reputed to take 600bhp with oil cooler.

If it's a 6-speed H pattern box you want another Noble owner is a long way towards a solution, if it's a fully sequential paddleshift unit then it already exist & running wink

Ok but I'm pretty sure Andy is running around 600lbsft through the ford box with similar mods. A supercharged 'big block v8' will be making 600lbsft at about 1/4 throttle!

Kevin, what make is your sequential box, our little 130bhp units use a flat-shift Sadev system and need to be re-build after each season with some failing before. Our races are longer but we have far less power/torque. The paddle shift system we use are designed to insure the transmission will not engage until the road speed is correct to save buzzing the engine, is this the same with yours??

Paul, it's a Holinger box capable of 900Nm in race conditions, strip down / check / overhaul every 1-2 years dependent on hours run.
Yes the paddle shift system is as you describe & the clutch is only used for pulling away & stopping.

Hi Kev, Nice Vid, did you say u run 750bop?
The box seemed to perform well, it sounded a little loud but the changes seemed fairly smooth.

How much do I need to spend?
I'm sitting down.
