Love it. Don't take it tony! Your wheels are the best, I've got a novelty pen in the same finish (actually, I don't, it's real carbon fibre and I lost it like all my other pens frown )

Or you know, at least banter back, no need to get touchy. I'd say the true mark of being a grown up is being able to take some flack on the chin and give back as good as you get, I wouldn't last five minutes at work if I got touchy and stopped hurling abuse back hehe

These look ok, perhaps tick all boxes apart from a necessary Lottery win. They are in the news section on the Speedline website. Maybe worth speaking to them to get a price to make up a batch for Nobles.

They look nice, I think I prefer them to the last batch. Not sure about running mag wheels on a road car though.

Hey Shaun, yeah they are nice but I've already enquired, they only start at 19" wheel just now, also £15k for a set!!!

Chappers yeah they are nice but think just a 17" wheel, I'll speak to Speedline and find out more info on what styles we could have

Says 8x18 and 8x19 on the site, so maybe they can dish an 18? Cast though, so also maybe not.

Yeah Graham, closer look at them this morning kinda unsurprised they are 15K hence necessary Lottery win... Makes Rob's & Kev's Dymags wheels look like bargains. Shame there are no other Dymags to fit Nobles around.

I do like the sound of the dished Speedlines especially if they are the design we have. I'd definitely have a set of them if they can be made & were the chosen wheel.

Good luck pal

Some further digging, Speedline changed their tune, they won't do our fitment in anything other that the type 2021 which has been bought previously and won't dish it due to cost.

It turns out 'Dymag' wheels are still producing wheels, just not under the same name/licencing for certain companies producing Ariel atoms etc, im trying to find if they'll do an 18" wheel

Also I'm waiting for prices from these guys, look pretty cool and option of a monoblock forged and dished forged GT wheel.

Will keep you updated

Sounds great well done mate for persevering. Shame with Speedline reneging with what they said, I do though really like the wheels we have & would gladly get another set for spares in case any of the my original four get smashed or severely damaged.

The ones in the photo's look good especially the dished one.

I wonder If Dymag would re make the carbon wheels, I'd be very interested in them too dependent on not having to win the Lottery like with the CarbonRev ones. smile

I remember trying to trace them a few years back to get hold of a couple of replacement Dymag wheel inserts. From memory (which is pretty poor) the license was taken over by a Far Eastern company (Hong Hong or Singapore)but there was a place in Chippenham,CSA Performance, who were sub-licensed to produce only motorcycle wheels. When I contacted them they were just starting up and a very helpful bloke found a couple of the inserts which were still lying around and put them in the post foc. AFAIK they were only doing motorcycle wheels, but things may have moved on.Good luck!

Yes Braid wheels are an option at £3k per set.

I went to put the order through to team dynamics but it turns out the batch of wheels they had blanks for drilling 4 stud fitments are now finished, they can no longer offer 4 stud 10" wide rears, only 9" which is smaller than standard

Its looking like our only options are change to 5 stud hubs, spend £3k per set on wheels or buy 6 sets from speedline.

But if you change to five stud, you can consider Oz Ultraleggera's, they have to be the lightest wheels around
