In a word, no. The car you're referring to isn't a 3R anyway, it's a 2.5 GTO. Its had some essential mods done judging by the description but hasn't seen a Noble dealer for 50k miles. With that in mind it sounds FAR too dear to me. I'd expect to be looking at pulling the engine and box and rebuilding both almost as soon as I'd bought it and adding the Quaife ATB to the box if it hasn't had one fitted already. Other than that there doesn't appear to be anything further to do other than potentially some consumables and perishables.
It's funny, it tends to be the same vehicles which rotate on the second hand market I'm 90% sure this vehicle was for sale when I was looking a year ago. I wouldn't agree with what has been said above entirely, although I agree that the service history of this vehicle is chequered - has it had an engine replacement too??? (can't remember if it was this one or not)
In general, high miles shouldn't put you off when looking for a Noble if it has been looked after. In fact many on here would encourage you buying a higher mileage vehicle as any niggles would have been sorted and replaced with better components over time. The actually block and engine components on the Noble are pretty solid, there are many on here in or approaching the 70k's and I seem to remember someone on here has a stock Noble near 90,000 miles which hasn't even needed a clutch replacement which is a good testament.

I am new to the noble world so looking for good info.when looking through the classified adverts they all seem to be low mileage nobles.
This one caught my eye on ebay but the mileage did seem high.
It's not had a replacement engine as far as I know I was asking if this sort of mileage is ok without a rebuild .same with the gearbox. Just looking around to see what's out there.I am driving a tuscan just now .

Blue 3r why do you assume because a car has high ish mileage it would need a rebuild ?.If the car mentioned drove spot on and the engine felt tight why spend money when you dont need to ?.Also there are a few non main dealers that can work on these cars no problem (my experience of a main dealer in the south was shocking to be honest so your comments about the car not having seen a main stealer for 50k dont necesarily hold up).I have the car that V1DL3R mentioned thats clocked up nearly 90k.
The engine is as tight as a drum clutch (original still) fine gearbox fine and have the open diff all be it having it replaced after 19k.Sorry if it comes across as a rant but people seem to be scared of by high mileage cars but id rather buy one that has been used regularly than sat around for long periods.As the saying goes use it or lose it as they say.
