Just about to take the plunge but thought it was worth asking if anyone has one to sell first. If you don't ask, etc...

Just a thought but ask if they'll do their " group buy" price....if you don't ask, etc....

Price is £852 delivered for my single order. The discount would apply if there were a few people. Anyone else likely to be in the market? I've asked Chris at Proalloy how many orders he would need and the discount which would be offered.

Prices: (Usual price £695)

Group Buy order Qty of 2 – 4 off kits = £625-50

Group Buy order Qty of 5 – 9 off kits = £556-00

Group Buy order Qty of 10 + kits = £521-25

These don't include VAT.

So, even if there's just 2 of us we'll save £70 + VAT...

I've got the Faulks Performance type one, perfectly adequate for road use, but I don't think it's made anymore.I think it's widely accepted that the Pro-Alloy one works for track use, albeit at a hefty price .

I already have the faulkes one, I just think all there stuff is really exspensive. 850 quid for a intercooler seems rediculous to me.
Surely you could have one made up for cheaper. I may be wrong

I would tend to agree I would never buy one at full price but with a group deal it becomes closer to a price you would expect. It's also good for resell value to have the pro alloy kit.

It is a very low volume custom product, developed and tested specifically for the car, originally in conjunction with Roush/Mountune, proven and fully data logged, also the only product on the market to have had this level of support.

How much should it cost?

I am sure the price for 100 would be significantly lower

Gonna give this the occasional bump before giving up. Just 3 more people and the price becomes £660 all inclusive...

I spoke to Chris last week about shipping to the US, and he was VERY helpful. I am interested in a few more of their products if we can get this to go... Fingers crossed... ;-)

I ran a group buy earlier this year and we managed 14 so unfortunately it might be tough to get a decent number together frown
