Help please, got the protechs - pure Automotive porn - all fitted but the wheels are still away for straightening, refurbishing and new tyres, can someone please give me some rough setting so I can get prepared while everything is in the air? I'm thinking the number of visible threads at the top front and back to give an approximate ride height, I've gone for the road springs if that makes a difference. The plan is to get it all together and then corner weighted if there is still a planned group day.

Has the last set sold or do you have another set ? If so I would be interested in a set with road springs.

Martin, are you fitting them yourself or getting someone to do them? Thinking of hiring a lift/tools for the day to do mine. Simon says they are easy enough for a novice like me to do.

Cheers tux. Phoned Kevin back today and passed over payment details and he said they should be out in a few weeks. He didn't seem sure if this was the last set of the group buy but hopefully your not going to be left paying for any or stuck with spare sets. Cheers again. Looking forward to tying them out, as much as the car drives great you've got to assume 12 year old suspensions got to be passed its best even with the refurbs it's had.

Hey Simon, that's a very civil offer, am very grateful, I've also got a friend who races in the Caterham Cup who is local and a dab hand with a spanner, if he is busy I may just take you up on your offer and blow some cobwebs out along the way.

Cheers Ian

So think mine arrived yesterday but missed the post. Need to try and get the mrs to collect tomorrow. Looking forward to getting them on the car! So as a rough rule of thum you just set the heights as per tot eh height of the cill and then adjust the setting to suit. Going to book it in for a full set up at kenny Browns in Hillington Glasgow who gets a great name for corner weighting and track prep etc. thanks again tux for arranging.
