Anyone thinking of changing their exhaust?

I've contacted BCS about the costs and here's the response:

Powervalve variable tone load actuated system with 200 cell cats,
The retail price is £2995.00 inc the heat wrap - uprated fuel pump and loom.

We do offer the facility to forum members to create a group buy which has the effect of reducing the price to £2545.75 if 5 members were to join and £2396.00 if 10 members were to join.

SO, just gauging interest at the moment...

Would like to hear how it would sound, and how loud? Cant get on any UK track with the Roush.
Does sound megga though, but Running big boost has really changed the note of mine, and made it very deep and throaty and very loud 112db drive by.

I though most new owners thought the Roush/ piper system was stupid money at £2500 , what has changed?

I'm guessing these are fitted prices unlike the Roush?

Yep, not cheap. I'd be happy for people to suggest other options. I'm waiting for a price for the Jetstream one.

Thought the Roush one was 4.5k?
The BCS price is not fitted- as far as I'm aware (and it does include the fuel pump and wiring, and cats).

here is a vid of the exhaust, sound is half way through.

It does sound quite loud on full boost, so wonder what db it produces?

Jetstream told me they are only doing backboxes now, and I'm still waiting for a reply to the text that I was told to send 4 weeks ago. Think they were about 600 quid fitted.

the Roushe is very heavy and all the wadding blows out the back due to the design... I have had a few rebuilt now and they all had nothing in them at all.
When rebuilt the internals are all replaced with higher quality stuff that I use in mine (the wadding and the perf) and they are all getting on track even with high power... and they are not more restrictive... at under £400 (can't quite remember) its a lot cheaper than replacing the entire system and means getting on all UK tracks.

Hi Andy if this is any help , I remember speaking to BCS a while back and that was a fitted price with cats , upgraded fuel pump and wiring including vat .

The Rousch noble exhaust with cats on the Piper webb site is £2878.00 including vat But not fitted .

From what I've read on previous posts (or on FB), when on track you disconnect the boost valve and therefore pass DB drive by.

I would love to change my H&S as I want some flexi sections but I've got other thing planned. If I had a std exhaust then I would be right on this.

There put flexis in your one if you ring them up

Prob will get Jetstream to do it when fit new turbos as the flanges need to be changed anyway.

When you say 'all UK tracks', does that mean you can get in under 98dB static tests? If so, I will be getting this done!

I went for a noise test at Goodwood on Saturday, prior to booking a 105dB day. The tester said I'd scrape in on a 105 day.

Hayward and Scott do a 2.3/4 dia system with repackable boxes and flexi's fully fitted for less than2k , it's a tried and tested system that passes a static test at 98db and is ok for most uk tracks , it's also been tested to over 600 bhp !

Looks like a few options emerging. I'm not sure if I fancy the powervalve option but that's all BCS offer now.

The H&S is £2200 ish fitted (£1400 ish without cats).

Still not sure which way to go.
