Apologies for my lack of technical language, but what is the black stuff that coats the inside of the clams? I've got a bit chipping away in one of my rear wheel archs and would like to re-coat it.

Thanks

Dave

It's called stonechip ,you will need a Schultz gun and air compressor to do a good job

You can buy it in an aerosol from halfords, it goes on nice and thick and looks factory.

I have used the terosyl black with good results dries to a rubbery finish and is only about £12-15 a litre and goes a long way, needs to be warmed though or warm day.

I coated mine with black hammerite last year.

Looks much better than standard in my opinion and its easier kept clean. Cleaned it up nicely.
