k me that's steep'I use the Heysham route to IOM regularly in my M400 as I live on IOM.
No real problem unless a very low tide. Take ramp to ferry at an angle to ensure no grounding. Staff are generally very good and watch you closely.
Do not try to travel via Liverpool as the ramp to the Fast Craft is not possible without additional wooden ramps etc.

I got star treatment when I took mine Dover - Calais, DFDS.
The staff were very helpful and careful, and one in particular was obviously an enthusiast. Consequently was first on, so front and centre for the exit too.
Getting on and off the ramps, they also have various wood planks on standby to help where needed. If you can get on an AA truck, then no problems with a ferry

I've also observed other ferrys unloading, and you'll often see some exotica as first off the down ramp. I think it's commonplace for them to take extra care of something nice - unlike the Chunnel! Hate the Chunnel, but sometimes its a necessary evil.

When I returned from my last Nurburgring trip with a friend in a heavily modified Boxster we were stopped and asked if our cars were low before entering the Eurotunnel. We replied yes and they took us around the queue and directed us on with the coaches to avoid the chance of having to take the upper deck. Only embarrassment was the coach-loads of people wanting pictures and a chat about the Noble and not one asking my friend about his
