Hi Ian / Bondy, you guys might be OK, the Trident catalogue shows their Camloc studs, I think you want the 4002 series, the head of mine says 'S' and '7', they sell them for £3.96 each up to 10 off, order 30 or more the price is £3.36. The receptacles are no use as they are fixed, not adjustable. Might be worth ordering a sample to see if it fits, if not let me know and i'll buy some sets from USA, I've sent a mail to ask for a postage quote and can bundle some tops for you guys with the receptacles I need. Good luck phoning Trident though, he will think you are me and get completely confused!!

In the previous images that I posted (from SWLC's site) the washer that recesses into the top of the clam and the top fastener are separate items, but on mine its one (see attached from my rear clam), so would have to ensure the three top bits are purchased (above and circlip) will take a look at what Steve has indicated in the catalogue and circle back

Ian if you push the pin out at the bottom of that picture the whole thing comes apart.

Does that really work? I've tried many times but failed. The ends of the pin are slightly squashed at both ends (to stop the pin falling out, i guess).

I have to say it !
Is all this trouble really worth it when the parts are readily available at actually a realistic price ? When you consider the work involved & the quality of them at £37.13 each is it really that bad, if lifes that tough why did you by a Noble - getmecoat

£37 realistic?? I don't think its a case of people can't afford it, more the principle of paying excessively for something which is available elsewhere significantly cheaper

Based if you have a faulty one then replace it, why do you want to replace all eight ?

Thats what I thought yes
8 new fastners, cost 31.68 from Trident, change 8, 1 year later Trident no longer stock them poss,
Then change 8 again cause one broke over 250 pounds, unless you dont mind them not matching. could be force economy.

I did have a look on that site and hitting the same brick wall, the issue I was finding was I was never exactly sure which was the right size/fit and I was not going to travel from Surrey to Northampton for a couple of fasteners. I will probably get them the next time I visit my brother, he lives in Northampton so its on the way....but, it you manage to get them of course please let me know smile

Andrew, aren't the postage charges extortionate, that's one of the reasons I gave up on that route?

Has anyone contacted Jetstream ? Matt will sell you them in separate parts so if you only want the base or screw part no problem.
