Thanks for the replies - Jason, did you make those yourself? You appear to have Vac/Drape formed clear (PC?) covers over the drivers & base moulding?
I think they are Marcos lights which is where a lot of people got theirs from back in the day before Marcos went bust, I had a set on order with Marcos for over a year before they told me the receivers had the moulds etc.
ETS beaten to it, that's what happens when you stop to make coffee before sending a post!

Looks like a lot of people have been there before me !! I was not planning on PC covers as the amount of work required to get a mould suitable for the clear lens is considerable.
The new driver units have an outside Dia. of 113mm - not sure this is compatable with the older units. If they are, has anybody got some old mouldings I could take a splash (mould) from?
I will post some images of the drivers. The larger outer rings are tail/stop available clear or red + reflector (red!). Centres are tail stop or indicator - clear LED or reflector (red) or traditional incandescent bulb - tail, stop, tail/stop, fog - all red lens OR drirection, reverse in clear/grey lens. There are chrome/black/silver outer bezels available as well.
So, with two large ring recess's in the moulding, you could choose what goes where & what colour it is !!

Is there not an MOT requirement that the rear fog light be a certain distance from the rear brake lights?

I think I'm fairly handy with a spanner but making a set of these would be pushing my skills a bit too far, as others have said they are the Marcos rear lights. The afterburner rear lights were made by a guy a few years back (noble mods or something) and were more like standard light units with the Hella lights set in. If you could make a similar set to the Marcos units I'm positive people would be queuing up to buy a pair from you.

Not so - yours are the Afterburner lights and were made by Marcos Engineering. smile

Ok, this where I am.......I think !! The 113mm driver rings are bigger than the old drivers used in the previous Noble panels which were 98mm OD (I found them in the truck & motorhome catalogue). The new units are far better looking & have a better transition from inner to outer -Thus, I am going to make new lights all together I think. I will get some Mondeo units to take a splash from & go from there.

Ok, I'll write this once, look in the Perei catalogue, see if any are suitable and I will see if I can do something.

Two of us (Me and Gary/Cyrilsneer) have removed the mondeo clusters all together and frenched them in. Not cheap, but in my opinion it looks nice. Surface and Design did mine.

6 years ago!!!! I had a set of rear lights kindly loaned to me by a Noble owner on here. They guy that had taken over the Murtaya who was going to make a mould from them never gave them back, which was very awkward due to the fact these were loaned in good faith!!! They went bust as did Adrenalin Motorsports before them who did the drawings.
I wish anyone the Bol with this and would still be interested in a set of good quality replacements.
Interesting looking at the names and who still owns the cars!!

My car is at Bespoke at the moment so I can't look at it - can anyone give an explanation of what is involved in swapping rear light units?
