Tony , please can we let this selling thing go ? This has in the past been a very friendly forum and we are all very passionate about our Nobles , being part of this forum is a positive thing and everybody's input is important . At the moment you do seem to be very argumentive but do you not think it would be better if everybody could get along ?
Yes tux, but when certain people insinuate that I'm trying to sell stuff on the forum to make money, when my only intention was to help others out. I don't give a rats arse about trying to make any money, as the products that I've been involved with have never been silly money. All I done is to Respond to requests who gave asked if there is possibility to make more batches and passing on the saving to other owners, not making any money myself. It appears that certain group buys and blatant selling are over looked. Consistency on this forum sucks, so that's my argument. So if someone offers to sell something specifically on the forum and NOT the classified section, that is infact selling??? Yes!! You offered an engine for £1500 on here recently, didn't see Andy Gtt moaning about that.youve plugged Protech suspension quite recently too,that could be perceived as advertising for them. I'm not interested in wots others try to sell or PLUG on here on a regular basis, but do take offence when they pipe up and say I'm trying to bulk group buys etc. rant over,I rest my case now !!
Tony , the way I understand it group buys are allowed as long as it's a indepandant supplier and of no connection to the group buy organiser , if somebody post up they are looking to buy a component then again I see no reason why people cannot respond too said advert .
What we do not want is a forum full of people trying to sell stuff and with that in mind I understand why Pistonheads could remove adverts if they feel the need .
To my knowledge Andy has never ever started a thread trying to sell anything but as many of us have done responded to somebody who is looking for something .
If somebody post up they are looking for carbon sun visors I see no reason why you cannot offer yours , that Is the best thing about our forum , that and the brilliant advice that is given to both old and new owners .
Let's hope we can get the forum back on track and support all Noble owners .

When you had a thread deleted recently by the mods about the visors you then created a new one and in it CLEARLY told people who want some to contact you, that's selling.
I say what I think on the threads, others are clearly complaining to the moderators and then the mods are deleting your threads so quite clearly I'm not alone.
As Tuxman says there is a line, the moderator did recently make clear what was expected, stick in that and everyone will be happy.
Personally I specifically don't sell anything I design and make because it's simply not worth the hassle, so good luck to those that do, I've said exactly the same to tuxman.... I do help other owners and have OFTEN sent other owners on this forum parts for free to help them out even though I don't know them, from brackets to fuel tanks... Clearly you think I'm selling everything, I'm not.
Let's move on, loads of people are very interested in your stuff as after all that is exactly what this forum is for, sharing ideas, work done and helping other owners out.. Be a sad day if everyone actually moving the marque on stops posting just because of major friction and attitude on the forum.
