So you basically did exactly what I had done 3 years ago and it no longer leaks... who would have known?
Sorry Andy for not crediting you with the idea (thought you built your own anyway) however your car isn't subject to race conditions so thought it worth sharing. Some people put a value on my feedback so I'll continue to share it if that's alright. You don't need to respond.

Wasn't looking for creditr, just ironic considering you basically flamed my proven solution around a year ago saying it was unproven as it hadn't been on your racing car and that your iron brew bodge worked perfectly.

Anyhow I think the point missed is others want a nice looking solution, the black thing looks rubbish and is not suitable for the job as it leaks.... I moved mine to bulkhead which was the main reason for change, and I made an alloy one made so it had larger capacity and looked better baffles are similar to the White plastic thing.

Personally I think Robs new solution is the best on any noble I know, it's not cheap but if I was serious about racing and having a reliable car to finish races I would 100% go this route.

[quote=Hollowpockets]I've never flamed using the old system Andy, I joked the juice bottle bodge was a fix, obviously a sense of humour and some salt is recommended while reading my posts. I questioned your custom made set up for not being tested properly, don't stretch the truth.

Perhaps Id have a better leg to stand on the engine mount subject but I can't be bothered spilling any more milk wink

I am in the U.S. At the moment and may pick one up. Do I need the angled pipe connectors or straight version?

Thanks
Andrew

What is the procedure for swapping it out?
Is it Just un-hook hoses and fill new tank?
Are the connections the same size on the new tank?
How much power steering fluid needs to be added?
Any certain type of power steering fluid used?

Thanks

Pat

Folks, in the interest of consistency I thought I'd report back on the effectiveness of the "double capacity, super filtered, mega expensive, high quality, mine's better than yours tongue out" PAS tank.
Since fitting I've done some vigorous driving on a CarLimits activity day and had many many spins to push the fluid around more than you would under normal conditions.

Yep, still leaks. As you were...
